Description

Dark River Studios is owned and operated by Colt Capperrune, former co-owner of The NoiseGate Recording Studio. Dark River Studios is a 2100 sq ft, full production recording, mixing, and mastering facility. Featuring a Pro Tools HD3 rig, along with mics like Neumann, Royer to name a few. Dark River Studios, one of the largest recording studios between Chicago and St. Louis, (and is the largest in Peoria/Bloomington/Normal IL area), located right downtown Peoria IL on the riverfront in the Murray Building. This provides easy access to the studio from any direction, as well as being less than a 2 minute drive or walk from some of the city's best restaurants and entertainment. 

Our goal is to provide each client with an experience that rivals much higher priced studios. The end result is a product that not only is sonically better, but has better performances on it. Simply put, we can make you sound better than you ever thought was possible! All at a rate that is comparable to studios that are not nearly as well equipped.
