there are no words to describe how much i love this song. it gives me hope in the worst moments i my life. i am actually planning to create a video project involving this track as a way of showing my appreciation. also it deserves to be heard by many more people.

Amy Root - Luna [Reflektor Records]

Having the opportunity to remix one of Max’s tracks from his latest album was a real honour. The attention to detail and the warmth he brings to his productions are something that we’ve always aspired towards. We decided to work with Lovesong as we connected with the track’s reflective nature, the beautiful warmth and space the main prophet part brings to the track.  The hardest thing with the remix was to not overcomplicate or distract from this main synth. We really wanted to add live drums to keep it warm and organic, but then bring the electronic elements together for added depth and texture. We also worked on some simple warped piano and glock counter melodies to bridge the gap between the acoustic and electronic sounds.
