Basilisk is a veteran multi-genre DJ, co-founder of the influential psychedelic techno label Techgnosis Records (@techgnosis-records), and founder of the iconic @Ektoplazm music portal and label group. Originally hailing from Toronto, Canada, he is now based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he remains dedicated to breaking boundaries through mixcraft and the art of DJing.

Appearing now on Subtrail's Trail Cast, Basilisk presents a broad definition of "psychedelic techno", sourcing material from across the spectrum from minimal and dub techno to dark and progressive psytrance, with tasteful references to tech house and classic trance. Smooth harmonic mixing, subtle tension building, and a spiral motion through different moods ensures this will be a true journey into sound. F.i.e.t.e is the DJ/producer an CEO of DHRK-SONIK.NET based in Switzerland Kanton Zug.

In year 1990, he was at the begining on start. Where several club and festival sessions with Jeff Mills, Neil Landstrumm, Christian Vogel, Torsten Kanzler, Heiko Laux made the party walls shake !

Ages later he found darkpsy on Freqs of Nature, MO:DEM, Master of Puppets, Fusion, etc. Since F.i.e.t.e established his first darkpsy project 2018, which focuses on progressive, psychedelic darkpsy.

Sources of endless Inspiration are for him:

Kliment, Breger, NOID, Radioactive.Cake, Brojanowski, Hefty, DJ Golanski, DeKai, Skallen, Dark Side, Pad Zadik, Noctusense, Tarti, pHaSenVerScHiEbunG and many more...

He also decidet to make a webradio in year 2021. Where lockdown comes up and all clubs had closed. That was point of no return. He react 24/7 webradio only for dark electronic underground music is under us! So DHRK-SONIK.NET was born.

Together with the team members Cheez, Metasploit, DJ Joy, D3moGloban running exclusive DHRK-SONIK.NET 24/7 electronic underground webradio and broadcast international.

Miguel Toro aka Maktub is part of the Organika crew, producer of underground electronic music events in Cancun Riviera Maya Mexico, recently signed with the South African label Dense Nebula Records. 

Variable in his presentations, experimenting with different genres, creating his own style with powerful and unique sessions full of good tracks riddled with loops, playful melodies, heavy basses and psychedelic atmospheres that range from a fine Psytrance to a dark and swampy darkprogressive.
