Alternative Roots first discovered psychedelic music in the dark valleys of, Portugal. His fascination and involvement in the scene grew, to the point where he was entrenched in the culture and began organising his own parties and Dj’ing.

Aside from his deep rooted passion for music, he has developed his own production tech-niques, heavily inspired by the Psychedelics, dark trance and tech trance and exprimental music that he listened to in his youth.

His prodcutions have a definite and deliberate emphasis on heavy driving beats and deep basslines, punctuated by dark atmospheres and other worldly sounds which transports the listener to unknown dimensions.

Creator of the first open-air electronic music in parties in the west coast of Portugal in the 90's, Played in ZNA Gathering, Freekuency Festival, Activate Festival, Freeflow and in trance parties in portugal & Spain and co-founder of the Glow in the Dark Collective.

In 2018 I became totally fed up with trance and needed to stop focusing more on professional life. Is now searching and recreating himself on Dark Techno.

Alexis Kal El is a Psytrance dj from Greece specialized in Dark Progressive grooves. 

From his early twenties (2000+) he started playing in underground private circle parties.

Staring at 2010 he become more active at the Psytrance scene of his city becoming a member of a shelf organized radio station at Athens and a music producer at the show named Psy-Zone.

During the same period he started playing at clubs and festivals in Greece.

In 2021 he become a member of the music collective Undergound Experience.

He is still playing and organizing events with his fellow travelers of the underground scene of the city.

Over the years, his style has evolved, becoming more serious and deeper, primarily focusing on deep, swampy, and forest-like psy sound.

The main message, conveyed through multi-layered musical exploration that combines various styles into a single session, is to recreate a sonic journey held together by electronic vibrations. This experience aims to guide listeners through diverse emotions, encouraging them to express their inner selves as one, while pushing the limits of the mind to the next level.

Metasploit is known as the manager of dhrk-sonik.net Radio. In 2020 he started to create dhrk-sonik.net Radio to provide a playground for DJs, artists and labels with now 7,000 listeners worldwide every month and 3,000 followers on social media.

His agile radio management helps electronic music artists to show their skills. Since then he has delighted more than 240,000 listeners and collaborates with internationally known DJs, artists, friends and record labels on the radio.

He collected techno records very early and started as DJ 1995. Soon after he played in local clubs and at many subculture underground parties. 2001 he started producing Techno Minimal and had his first unforgettable live performance at the Universo Parallelo Festival in 2008.

He now plays on the radio with artists such as Sensient, Kromagon, Breger, Eartheogen, Kliment, Brojanowski, Cubex, Gurtrude, Slip Hypnotic, Skyvibes, Sourone, Elberg, Emiri, Yonagual, Ego-T, Vorg, Braindrop, Josephine Wedekind, Aka Nina, DJ Massern, Hellquist, Ahyoka, Champirolls, Dark Side, Melt, Alternative Roots, Hefty, Acousma, Psilostatic, Fluoelf, Eco Jafar, Judge Ming and many more TBA...

After various releases and over 3 decades as a musician, he developed his musical style in recent years from Techno and Minimal to Dark Prog Forest and Zenonesque.
