Hey from Thundery Cyprus ⚡ thank you so much for Sunday guys the energy was amazing. There was a surprising emotional release on this show and those of us with headphones / good speakers found our bodies giving us an ASMR response - goosebumps & hairs standing up on the back of our necks and all down our arms. I’ve really missed bringing everyone together and it’s whilst this isn’t the same as the live events, it’s amazing that we can all feel something at exactly the same time. 

Doing this for you works both ways - if I make you feel good it makes me feel good, but this also allows me to say something profound that I can’t get across to you any other way than through my music. 

The quality of new material is improving and I really feel like I’ve found my home with regards to a sound that can give your soul a lovely massage and invoke some new energy from within.

Hello Everyone and welcome to another edition of PFG's Exclusive Progcasts, our weekly trek around the world of Planet Prog.

From the South, to the North, and we've taken the M1 out of Dublin all the way into Belfast, a trip quite a few of us at PFG are used to! We love NI, and this weeks DJ is one of the many reasons why. Well used to spinning mixes for us at PFG, this is his fourth mix in total. If this is the first time your hearing one, I can guarentee it won't be your last. Crew, give it up for Aiden Burgess!!!

Hailing from just outside Belfast in NI, Aiden got into buying early House and Techno records, and anything else that caught his ear when he was 16 years old. His love for buying them eventually led to him grabbing a set of old  SL12010 Technics when he was 17. Aiden's main influences back then where Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman and many more. He's DJed in one of Northern Irelands classic clubs, Charlie Haggarty's in Bangor, and he has also ran his own club nights in the past.These club nights aired on a monthly basis at Rosie Scotts in Comber NI. That venture lasted roughly 2 years and in that time he had to design his own posters to promote his night and also hire speakers and lighting! Aiden has also won a Dj competition held by Mixmaster Records in Belfast were he was competing against 40 other DJ's. His hour long mix won the prize for £100s worth of records. His main styles of music would be Classics, Deep house, Electronica, Breaks, Progressive House and Techno. He has a massive passion for music and is constanstly sourcing new music for new mixes, just like this one!

For our first curator of the year, we invite a Professional DJ who’s graced the Russian underground scene for more than two decades; a Producer who can proudly boast more than a thousand releases over 80 record labels worldwide; and most importantly, an ableton live certified trainer – who teaches at the prestigious Resonance Music Academy in St. Petersburg. 

His tutelage spans a vast variety of subject matter, from basic production to live mixing, all the way to label releases. The pandemic has not slowed him down at all, but allowed him to make affordably attractive tutor packages available on a global level via Patreon. 

His live antics involve a complex setup of controllers and synth – emphasising on the art of performing. And it is for that reason, that he is amongst the most sought out artists in the progressive world in Russia and beyond!
