hey everyone! I've been sitting on a lot of old music, so I've decided I want to start touching them up and releasing them ^^

This one's called Front Seats! I wrote it a couple years ago, back when my relationship with my bf was really new, and I was having a lot of worries about all the emotional baggage I was coming into the relationship with. (Also, I just really like driving.)

Super Metroid is an epic immersive game that somehow ties together an ancient natural world with futuristic weapons and scenery. While I was writing this, I wanted to make it sound as electronic as possible while keeping it immersive, mysterious, and even scary to represent what Samus must feel to be exploring around by herself. I used twelve-tone techniques for the whole track with electronic drums and lots of lo-fi distortion to make acoustic instrument samples sound garbled, glitchy, and robotic.
