Sometimes the right things just fall into the right place and so it happened with an old track by Thomas P. Heckmann under his Drax disguise, named Section 2. Originally released as Techno’s first ever 7inch, it was very popular in 1993 and paved the way for the huge follow ups like Drax Three -Phosphene and the hugely influential and successful Drax LTD.II - Amphetamine.

Mark Broom Feat. Drax - Section 2 (Alan Fitzpatrick Edit)

It is Monday the 25th of August 2014 and we have Brian Sanhaji back on the CLR Podcast. The present live set has been recorded at this year´s Nature One festival and except from the popular “Daria”, it only includes unreleased and previously unknown material. The performance was broadcasted on be-at.tv, but here you get it in much better quality and with crowd atmosphere. Apart from his restless efforts as a mastering technician for CLR and other renowned labels, Brian is currently working on a new album, which is supposed to be finished by the end of the year and released by the beginning of next year on CLR.

The film is directed by Hazel Hill McCarthy and features Genesis BREYER P-ORRIDGE (Throbbing Gristle, & Psychic TV) exploring the roots of Voodoo tribes in Benin Africa. Also playing that night was Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb, Silent Servant, & Eight Frozen Modules.
