SUERTE, based in Lyon is our guest for the 71st episode of LLS. She started her musical journey with classical music and playing the violin for 10 years. Quickly, she developed a strong interest in electronic music, finding her artistic identity in this musical style. 

Passionate, but also fascinated by the power of music, she finds a certain comfort there. Suerte gradually takes you into a sometimes dark and melancholic universe thanks to the very rhythmic and powerful sets she puts out - showcasing her eclectic taste in different atmospheres and styles of Techno. In her musical universe, you will find industrial sounds, rave-like synths, but also  hardtechno, hardtrance, and even RnB tracks.

For me, DARK DISCO is a form of rebellion against the mainstream disco movement, which I like. There’s something punk about it ⛓️✨

It also can take on myriad different shades, textures and colours but still remain true. That's why it's here to stay ✊

This set is full of rugged and raw tunes, with oriental melodies and chugging grooves, tobacco-stained synths and angular riffs but importantly, it always remains very danceable 🕺🏽 and appeal to biker cyborgs and goth humans who are the perfect company for a vampire 🏍️🤖🖤

Also this is a music for strobe lights and smoke machines rather than mirror balls and lasers which suits perfectly the new vampiric treats I am getting myself used to! 🏴󠁭󠁨󠁬󠁿

Bader started dj’ing and producing music with Yalla Soundsystem together with his colleague Acid Ponch. His sound can be described as a symbiose between east and west.

Through his work as a digital content creator for Voem, he started curating Yalla nightlife events in Ghent; bringing the cream of the crop of the alternative MENA music scene to Belgium: artists as 3Phaz, Toumba, Muskila, Cheb Runner, Asifeh, Renata and Big Murk.
