Question--I really need to get clear and str8 on the subtle and no so subtle nuances between these genres: So, this track by Photek, T"Raenon, is Dubstep, or not? What is the difference between the sub-genres within the larger categorical genre (and what would that larger categorical genre be)? So, there's Lo-Fi, Dubstep, Electronica, Trip-Hop (which sounds like Dubstep to me, at times), Jungle, Breakbeat (which is what I think of when I hear T"raenon). My first experience with breakbeats was Jazz pianist, Marc Cary's _Rhodes Ahead, vol. 1_.
