Ben Champell´s sound is a mix of dark pressing techno beats and hooking melodic tech-house tunes all in a lower range of speed than techno music is usually played. He is calling it “Down-tempo Techno”. Within the past 10 years Ben released his tracks & remixes on labels like OFF, Unity, Complexed, Blufin, Unity, Natura Viva Black or Stick Recordings to name only a few. Musicwise his homebase he found at Complexed the imprint of techno legend Drumcomplex and Blufin based in Cologne. Since 2012 Ben has been always pro-ductive, he composed over 250 original tracks and did remixes for artists like Drumcomplex, Belocca, Ash Roy or Omis (Italy). He also gets huge support from some big names of the business like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Veerus (Drumcode), Claude van Stroke, DJ Hell and many others constantly. Ben built a reputation for playing powerful and dynamic sets in clubs, open-air festivals and radio stations around Europe including his personal highlights Decadance (Ghent/ BE) Electronic Wine Festival (Koblenz / DE), Oldenbora Festival (Oldenburg/DE) alongside lots of big names from the industry. He also is a well-known guest artist at Sisyphos Berlin where he smashed the legendary Hammahalle or Dampfer with his 4-5 hours sets. The latest releases on the market where a complete EP on Complexed and an EP on legendary OFF Recordings. A new Solo EP on as well on OFF is already planned for 2022 and an EP in collaboration with Technohead Drumcomplex ist he making for 2022. Remixes on GAIN Recordings and RAWWORXX are going to be released very soon.

Subjacent is a newly formed San Francisco-based female duo. Exploring the duality in nature and in people, Subjacent produces techno, melodic techno tracks mixing soft melodies and powerful techno drums. Their first track “Orange Sky” was released on Family Piknik and has received support from renowned Techno DJs & Music Producers like Tom Pooks, Emanate, and the legendary John Digweed (on Transitions #877). Rose and Amandine are multicultural, they live in the Bay Area and are both DJs and music producers - currently working on their next EPs.

Damien Fisher is a Minimal Techno artist born in Bristol, England but raised in the Spanish underground scene.

Enter into a musical vortex benevolent to the true pursuit of a unique, dark and percussive sound. An Artist whose sole pursuit for originality covets the universal trend towards a more commercial dance scene. Damien has carved a new path towards a terminal built on the foundations of minimalism and fundamentalism, found only within the reverberations of pioneering greats such as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Gaiser and Matador.

Damien’s birth in the United Kingdom and subsequent move to Spain provided the inspiration that a better form of normality does exist if you pursue it. The variety of cultures experienced during his youth broadened his vision of taste, culture and understanding of music. These very experiences, paired with Damien’s acute ear for perfection have empowered him to emulsify all the greatest elements of true minimal techno into a stream of sound, iconic to his productions.

In 2018, Vietnam, a backpacking world adventure was stopped prematurely when a car hit Damien’s motorbike head-on. Multiple surgeries and 18 months of convalescence enabled Damien to hone his skills and it would become the pivotal moment in his career. Damien’s fresh, refined and newfangled sound was now grabbing global attention through Richie Hawtin’s sets at events such as TimeWarp, Sunwaves and Primavera Sound.
A product of this time witnessed the birth of his track, ‘Psilocin’ that later captured the attention of Dubfire and resulted in Damien being the victor of the Bridge_48 Dubfire Mentoring Competition.

It is thanks to this journey that Damien has landed a 3 track EP, ‘Building Bridges’ on Dubfire’s imprint, SCI+TEC. This continues to heighten his career trajectory within the global underground techno scene and in the new decade ahead, Damien will be bringing ground-breaking musical experimentation to the ears and minds of the techno world.
