I think this was my demo for Rinse FM 1996, found this and reminded me of old times.  Big Up Geeneus, Slimzee, Footsie, Bruza, Dj Rips, Double G, Firearms, Reckless Crew, Terror Danjah, Tempo, D Double, DJ Lixx, Plex, Ruud Awakening Gang, Pressure FM, Riko Dan plus others.. this set is all vinyl, technics turntables (that weren't mine) big up who ever let me record this. Must had been a TDK 120... Enjoy!!!

Bountos 1996 Mix

Pascal, another truly great producer that I feel doesn't get the props he deserves.  Engineered for some of the top people in the scene from Goldie, Wax Doctor, Rude Bwoy Monty, Mampi Swift, Hardware plus others.  Also he had hit after hit after hit.. running record labels too.  1994 was a great year for him, Face Album, Ganja Records, Frontline Records.  Enjoy this mix along with the samples and emotion of Pascal. !!!

Another mix that I can't believe has not been done, Photek one of our best producers ever but more on a jungle / soul tip.  He's not known much for this style other than "Jump MKII" but again great music from 1994.

Again these tracks are my own choices, there are others from this year, Street Beats etc….

Best of Photek 1994

Been waiting a while to do this mix and it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. It feels like Alex Reece likes a lot of natural swing in his drums so kicks and snares were cool.  Anything in-between ..... 

Wax Doctor is one of the best producers ever working with Alex Reece of course doesn't get enough credit.  He influenced a lot of people then and now in LTJ Bukem and Calibre to name a few.

Best of Wax Doctor 1995

From listening to R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae and Soca I started listening to (1988 – 1991) Acid House and Hardcore on Sunrise and Centerforce before turning to (1992 – 1994) Weekend Rush locking into Russia, Red Ant & Fox.  I found that I loved the vibe of Jungle and naturally turned to dj’ing. 

I used the name of Bounty Hunter back from 1993 - to 2001 playing jungle / drum and bass representing Smokers Inc on a label front.  Working for them came from myself, Dj Tubby (Newham Generals/Dirty Stank) djing in a local wine bar in Alexandra Palace and all of us on the same vibe musically, from there our relationship developed due to our love of music and dubplates plus anything new!

From there I got breaks in many clubs such as Stratford Rex, Chimes, Club UN, Desire, Club Desire and dj’ed on many radio stations holding down regular spots on Rude FM (1994), Pressure FM MC Budd (1994- 1995)Mc Footsie, Future FM with Mc Footsie, Lyricist(1997), Ruud Awakening (1997-1998) with MC Funsta & Krazy-B and the now famous Rinse FM (1997- 2001) with the now even more famous MC Wiley / Eskiboy, Bruza, Triple Treat, Lethal & Ill Matic R, and even passed my show onto DJ.. Tubby.   He is signed to Dirty Stank with Newham Generals.  

After many years of success Smokers Inc decided to close label closed in 1999, and I decided to focus in other areas from 2001.  After keeping a close ear to the ground and going out to hear a new beats. I got into the dubstep, started producing 18 months ago with great results.
