This Disco Gecko episode features a special spring mix by Animat alumni DARKLY A.M, probably better known as Mark Daly from the Sheffield-based downtempo duo Animat. Having taken a break following the sad and sudden death of Michael Harding, his musical partner for over 10 years, Mark has returned with a new sonic direction whilst still staying true to his electronica roots. Nourishing a long-term yearning to make more dancefloor focused music which never really surfaced in Animat, Darkly A.M. has started to have success with his first solo releases... expect to hear more as the year unfolds.

Nonstop 4 A.M 08.06.2020 - Future feat. Nkim Sdie Mix

First complete draft of my latest track - "Tiger's Hark" (working title:"Tigers Hark" - I might keep it as that perhaps; see below!). Work in progress.

Title inspired by a toy monster truck I bought my son for his 6th birthday this year, which just happened to be on the floor in my studio when I was struggling for a title!
