You did such a good job with this -- for some reason I've been wanting to do Vangelis in Reason, and you've really set a high bar.  Thanks for showing me its possible!  Please let me know if you may be prevailed upon either for advice or for the Reason file -- I completely understand if not. Thanks again for the inspiration!

This is my humble attempt at a Vangelis tribute.

It is a re-working of a track I was never really happy with. I took it down from SoundCloud a few months ago. I think it's improved but please let me know what you think.

So when I first heard this  song in my head, I imagined this as some kind of Two-Tone Genre.
But when Phil and I began writing this, we tried a soul song and then tried to make it "modern".  It ended up sounding like a child of the 80s.
My friend say "Pet Shop Boys" so I'm resigned to wearing a traffic cone on my head.
Thanks Phil for all the time you've spent mixing and adding to the song in so many ways.

This is the first song that Phil and I collaborated on in a year. I told Phil that I had a half written Acid House Jazz song and he thought that he  could fuse it with an element from his hero, Jean Michel Jarre ..... and this it it.
The song is pretty abstract but it’s about the Dreams of people who have inspired me....and many others. In some cases they were locked up or paid the ultimate sacrifice for their beliefs; The Luther-Kings, Mandelas, Gandhis, Lincolns and Lennons of our past. I think we really need some in the present. The sparse lyrics are peppered with some of their key words or phrases.
It’s about dreams so Phil has added a dream sequence.
