BOTL is a pure product of Lyon's techno
scene, and at the age of 24 he's already
making a name for himself with his fast,
percussive, melodic sets, creating a dark,
bewitching atmosphere whenever he
plays.
Influenced by the likes of Kobosil,
Alignment, Basswell and Manni Dee, he
has won over Germany with high-profile
appearances in Cologne and Berlin, and
is hoping to conquer foreign countries like
his own, France. He has performed
alongside the likes of Parfait,
999999999, Charlie Sparks, Airod and
Afem Syko.
On the production front, following the
release of his second EP, 'Encrypted',
which caught the eye in early 2023, he
has signed two tracks to the 999999999
label, due out at the end of September.
His name is sure to be on the list of
promising producers to watch in 2024. S
upported by Trym, Shlomo, Dexphase,
Skryption, Callush and others,
BOTL's musical style and production
quality make him an innovative and
talented new artist to watch closely.

Kovács Kálmi másfél éve kezdett bele zenei pályafutásába KALMIKVCS néven. A bemutatkozását követően azonnal számos meghívás érkezett újabb fellépésekre. 2019 volt az éve, hogy magával ragadta a műfaj és rövid időn belül rájött, hogy a hardtechno és a schranz lesz az ő stílusa. Ezen belül is főként a klasszikus hangzásvilág.

Fiatal tehetségként az elmúlt másfél év során játszott szinte az összes aktuális budapesti klubban. Emellett számos alkalommal vendégeskedett Szegeden, illetve már Debrecenben is megmutatta tehetségét. Zenei stílusával az ízig vérig hamisíthatatlan hard technot képviseli. 

A szettjeit főként technikás, gyors keverés, kemény és dinamikus ütemek jellemzik. Szenvedélyesen törekszik arra, hogy megtartsa az igazi hard techno hangzást, legyen az egy klasszikus track a 2000-es évekből vagy egy napjainkból származó zene.

Legnagyobb inspirációi és stílusa kialakulásának legfőbb előadói: Fernanda Martins, Golpe, Greg Notill illetve a hazai oldalról egyértelműen SveTec!

Neben einigen Sets für einige Labels stand er schon mit einigen Headlinern auf der Bühne. Neben seinen ersten Releases als Producer ist er Resident DJ beim Holybombs Kollektiv aus Stuttgart.
