The term "Trapped" refers to drug addicts and how many South Africans, especially in the Western Cape are lured into drugs and how it possesses and destroys them. In the chorus Dalton Del Rio speaks from an addict's perspective of how drugs is an escape from cruel realities to a thrill of happiness. Where Mario X, in his verses, explains how drugs effects the so called "coloured" communities in South Africa by tormenting it's victims and destroying families.
