The tape is the end of a letter, a goodbye, something to remember me by. 

Keeping in line with my traditions this tape was inspired by real events. Partway through this album I had left my girlfriend and much of the songs now take on a more depressing meaning because of that. Also during this albums creation a year had passed since my first tape "212-213" came out; time certainly flies. Only now have I realized how much I've grown since then. 

Thank you all for your continued support through the years, you're all lovely people.

Other Info:
A hopeful ending is all I could hope for. The closer is upbeat but still has that tinge of regret you hear so commonly in my music.

This was interesting to make, its rather fast paced and likely the best song on the album. I have nothing real to say for it. The sample was good.

I've worked on this album for nearly a year now. I remember being so dissatisfied following the release of my debut mixtape Hopeless Romantic. Yes, I was happy I finally created an album but there was always something missing. Eat Your Heart Out is my response to that empty feeling. 
It's a more professional take on Hopeless Romantic, it's not sample based, it has way better production value, I have improved my singing since then, attempted to step out of my comfort zone a bit, and this time I wrote with a purpose. Everything about this album is just better. I disingenuously called Hopeless Romantic my magnum opus. However now I feel I have created something deserving of that title, my only wish is that it doesn't stay that way forever. Thank you, all of you, for your support. Love You.

I've been working on this EP for about maybe two years now. I had some art made last week and I randomly decided to finish the last song today. There were points where it was going to be five songs, a point where it was supposed to be a whole album. A lot of things happened since then. I haven't made as much music (although I still have a ton of unfinished projects), I've gotten a job, I've been through more heartbreak, I've begun my senior year of high school and I've changed drastically as a human. Some of these songs are a year old, one of them I just finished today. Some songs I decided shouldnt make the final cut. Here it is though. A whole year later. I'd hate to call this a parting piece since I'm not through with musical endeavors. But here's something that may last a while. Thank you. See you again sometime.

Talking about "The Holy" is kind of difficult to do without being vague. I would say this is my most personal track and I think it would be wrong to delve into specifics. I don't think anything else I've made hits the same emotional depth or feeling. It's strange to be writing about this song so long after I made it, I'm so far removed from the situation but I can still remember what it felt like writing it. It's a breakup song, but its one that means a lot more than I think most of you will ever realize. 
I put everything into this song. Every lyric has a reference or an inside joke. Everything was specifically designed to mean something to someone. Whether they see it or not is really not important. I realize that now. 
Consider this me closing the book on this chapter of my life. After this is over I want it to be over. Quite frankly I don't want to revisit this anymore. It's been 7 months since then, I think its time I move on. 
I think they deserve that much.

Easton and I made this song a few months ago. Was originally going to go on a different project before he decided we should release it as its own single.

The song is about God from two different perspectives. Our ideological differences often come out in our music and I think this song makes it most pertinent.
