This mix was created to celebrate the release of "Mir", the final single before the new BANCO DE GAIA album drops on September 6th. For over three decades, Toby Marks, aka Banco de Gaia, has been redefining world electronica, leaving an indelible mark on the global music scene. He has energized countless dancefloors and inspired many musicians. Renowned for blending acoustic and electronic sounds, Toby integrates themes and techniques from diverse cultures and traditions. Fresh off raucous birthday celebrations for his dh2 imprint, @bedforddanes75 takes us through a sample-heavy mix inspired by '90s Memphis rap and Paranoid London.

"I wanted to do something slower / dusty that felt quite sample-heavy. I've been revisiting a lot of a '90s Memphis rap at the moment, combined with a constant Paranoid London obsession, Crackboy, 2d0gs etc. - those few things I was listening to really informed what I needed to do- and serendipitously the day after I finished the mix I bumped into [Paranoid London member] Quinn Whalley at Glasto at silly-o-clock… absolute legend."
