Captain Mustache is a French music producer and DJ from Paris.

Since 2020, he has released music on some of the most respected labels in the electronic scene: Kompakt, Mobilee, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, and an album on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, with consistent support from top DJ's around the world.

As a true electronic music lover, he has collaborated with some electro icons (Dave Clarke, Arnaud Rebotini, Chicks on Speed, The Advent, Keith Tucker from AUX88...), adding an extra vocal dimension to his music.

In 2023 he reached a career milestone with a full album called "The Super Album" on the legendary label KOMPAKT Records, with the privilege to join the short list of artists having signed an LP on this label, such as Kölsch, Agents Of Time or WhoMadeWho.

In 2025 he's coming with a new album called "LUZ" on beloved Berlin's label MOBILEE, a new achievement for him as an artist and a special step in his career.

He is now widely recognized for several standout tracks:
► "Everything" on Kompakt (300K plays on Spotify), supported by Pete Tong, Adriatique, Âme, Mano Le Tough, Jimi Jules...
► "La Nuit" featuring POPOF on Mobilee, played by David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk, Claptone, Deadmau5...
► "Bleu Cobalt" featuring JOHN DIGWEED & Nick Muir on Bedrock
► "Mentally Naked" (200K plays on Spotify), played by the late Andrew Weatherall on his last radio show

Having dreamed of becoming a DJ since childhood, he is now living his dream, recently touring around the world, USA, Mexico, Bahrain, and across Europe (Germany, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Bulgaria, Andorra...).

Inspired by space disco pioneers, Detroit techno and electroclash, his sound can be defined as romantic & burlesque.

It should come as no surprise that most of the live recordings I share are from this club — it’s where I can play most freely and be 100% myself. It all began with a chance meeting at last year's Fusion festival in Berlin, where label bosses Silicone Soul witnessed first hand the full effect of Extrawelt's jaw-dropping live performance. A few beers n smokes and a chat later, and a plan was hatched for the duo to release a record for Darkroom Dubs.
 
As Craig puts it, "We've really enjoyed their music since we heard "Soopertrack" on Border Community, a track we played loads, so it's a real pleasure to release their music on Darkroom Dubs." 

So, three delectable cuts of deep, melodic joy, and with a remix package featuring Robag Wruhme &amp; Claro Intelecto due to land in the summer, this sounds like the beginnings of an incredible project.

"Tonladen" from the release features on the new "Darkroom Dubs Vol. 2" compilation, mixed by Silicone Soul  released in April. With "Label of the month" (i-Dj) and "Compilation of the month" (Mixmag) already secured, 2010 is shaping up to to be a wonderful year from Darkroom Dubs. 

So we're gonna let the music do the talking and let you enjoy three superb cuts of brooding and engaging techno!
