With wide transitions, oscillating textures, and enveloping low frequencies, this set pushes the boundaries while remaining rooted in the hypnotic core. Expect a bold, magnetic, and unapologetic sound—a live set in the finest MAL_HOMBRE style. It is an homage to techno that draws you in, a reminder that this is not just music; it is an altered state, as emotional for the body as it is clarifying for the mind.

From the subtle syncopation of his basslines to the discrete melodies that intertwine, MAL_HOMBRE creates a dynamic experience inspired by the sci-fi minimalism of early 2000s techno.

▸BIO: 

Mark Sweeney aka @https://soundcloud.com/malhombretechno is a Glasgow born techno DJ and producer who is based in Leeds, England. Having Dj under is own name for many years in Central America ignited the passion for producing the genre and creating the MAL_HOMBRE alias.

With a host of previous releases under his belt, in 2021 Mark released a total of 40 total tracks on various labels. It was this year he aslo released his first album “Andromeda outpost” on Jeff mills’ Axis records, being the first ever UK producer to release an album on the legendary techno.

With his music continually supported at big techno events by Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Joseph Capriati, Black lotus and Jeff mills was included in Dave Clarke’s top 10 producers for 2021.

Mark continues in 2022 with various other released lined up on Edit Select (4th time) and Illegal Alien from Mexico.

For 030 we turn to Utrecht for Abstract Division. While the first set under this name appeared in 2013, their solo contributions dating back even further, with over 25 years of collective experience. Last year they  celebrated 10 years of their label Dynamic Reflection, presenting a platform for talents as well as top-tier artists like Donato Dozzy, Blawan, Jeroen Search and Luigi Tozzi. In this 90-minute recording at Audioriver Festival in Poland, they'll show you why they've been a vast contributing factor to the scene.

English musician Justin K Broadrick has been at the vanguard of the extreme metal, noise and punk scenes for more than three decades. His involvement in the famed grindcore/thrash punk band Napalm Death, the 1980s industrial metal electronic hybrid outfit Godflesh and the shoegaze band Jesu are just some of the myriad musical legacies that he’s left in his wake. But during these twenty years plus defining the contours of experimental metal genres, he was always working with electronic music, claiming that he finds it “more futuristic and consistently subversive.” JK Flesh is the solo moniker under which he’s producing genre-defying dance music and industrial techno since 2011
