Daed's music is characterized by creative sound design, intricate edits, thick atmospheres and playful melodies. His work has been compared to the likes of Autechre, Venetian Snares, Squarepusher, and Aphex Twin. He focuses heavily on the creation of abstract, other-worldly sounds as exemplified by his work with Glitchmachines and Inear Display. He is firmly establishing himself with releases on Mozyk, Analogical Force, and Concrete Collage. He continually seeks to push the boundaries of what he creates and has started creating custom software to achieve this goal and he is the co-founder of Defunkt Records.

Which artists have influenced you the most?
- I'm heavily influenced by Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Qebrus, Noisia and Autechre. I also have a past with metal music that drives a lot of my decisions.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?
- I have several projects lined up, but nothing in the very near future. Some self-released, some with labels. I do have a metal project that I'm slowly putting together, which relates a lot to my last answer.

Which artists/labels are more relevant to you now?
- Currently, Defunkt Records, Analogical Force, and Concrete Collage.

What inspires you now to create music?
- Everything. Living, experiencing life. All of it inspires music for me. I don't think I would be alive today if it weren't for music and it is a very central part of my existence. 

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- I bounce between a lot of things. Most of my released music is created using Renoise, but I also like to dabble in a lot of other software (Bitwig, Blockhead, VCV Rack). In terms of hardware, I use an octatrack live, along with whatever I feel like syncing to it. Some of my gear includes: An Arturia Minifreak, a Korg Monologue, a guitar, a M8 tracker, and an LXR-02 Drum machine.

Kan3da is a veteran in the Gothenburg scene with releases on Fundamental Records, Transient Force, and Stilleben Records. played by DJ Stingray, Laurent Garnier and The Advent.

Which artists has influenced you the most?
- Gerald Donald will always be number one. I think it can be heard. I wear my influences on my sleeve.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 
- I continue to work with Luke Eargoggle, new stuff is fortcoming, we recently finished doing a lot of the soundtrack for a documentary called Ultras about international football culture. 

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?
- Brokntoys always delivers, and can not forgot my home label Stilleben records. Also very happy that E.R.P continues to release beautiful high quality music to this day.

What inspires you now to create music?
- It's almost been 20 years since I started, I have less ambition these days but I mostly start from scratch and see where my little sessions take me. I find more joy in that than finishing projects.

Today we offer a dive into a live set recorded by electro producer from Copenhagen Brain Enterprise.

Which artists has influenced you the most? 
- I am influenced by a number of artists. Some are Drexciya/various Gerald Donald projects, Ectomorph, Pamétex, Dead Kennedys, Black Sabbath, Minor Threat, Public Enemy, Panasonic/Ø and Basic Channel. 

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 
- I have a track featured on Ray La Soul's Space Is The Place compilation coming out in November, and we have a new release in the CEA collective in the pipelines.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 
- Dopplereffekt is always relevant, new and old releases. I like a lot of the Mechatronica stuff, as well as what Cultivated Electronics puts out. A few artist to mention right now would be Brice Kelly, Poly Chain, Nullptr and Deimos Defender.

What inspires you now to create music? 
- I am inspired by a lot of the music I listen to and films that I watch. I enjoy playing around with synths as well as the technical element of producing. Another huge inspiration is our Copenhagen Electro Alliance collective where we meet regularly and present and discuss new our tracks for each other. 

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- I use set-ups that are based on hardware; old 80's gear like Roland Sh-09, Tr-808, Yamaha DX100, Alpha Juno as well as newer stuff like Electribe 2, Moog Minitaur and Moog Grandmother.  I also like to use old compressors and rack effects from Drawmer, Klark Teknik, Alesis and an array of effect pedals.

Featherstone is a producer and live performer from Adelaide, Australia. He’s released music with labels such as Gated, Neptune Discs and Nebulae and also runs his own imprint, Ernest’s Way.
