This is our latest track debuting in a live recording from a work Xmas party, not the greatest audio quality in the recording or at the gig, but worked it the best we could. Vocals kick in around 3 mins. All music performed live, no pre-recorded loops or clips. Full live electronica. **First take of a brand new track popped out of the ether last night, ten minutes and it was out. I've cut off the first three minutes** Warning there is one s-bomb! in the lyrics!
The Digitator does not use any prerecorded loops or samples. All music is played live 'on the fly' drums are played with electronic pads or electronic drum kit, synth, bass and rhtyhm parts are played in on a midi keyboard and layered in by recording loops as I play live, switching between loops recording new loops, dropping different loops in and out and tweaking them once layed down in a dj style of cross fading/ throwing FX and Vox at it, in a mad professor fashion.
Looking forward to trying out this track with Dave Rave for The Electricka Zoo. Our other EDM music is getting good crowd feedback so looking to throw down some more. Catch us live in Wellington at multiple locations in the coming months.
