Released on Miami's Bass Station Records in 1987 this rather wicked track by Dynamix 2 gets a special remix treatment.
I've removed "The Whispers - And The Beat Goes On" sample and added my own.

Give The DJ A Break (Vocal)

This is my 2nd mix ever recorded back in 2002.... 15 years ago from today!  This is an all vinyl recording before CDJ's became popular.  

I had this mix broken down into 17 tracks so I could skip thru while listening to it on a CD, so you may hear very tiny track gaps, but nothing horribly noticeable.  Enjoy!

i always thought Shawn was a lad who was mates with Milli Vanilli until I recently found out he was a she. I never liked the vocal mix so I only ever played the rather super Redzone dub, which I've edited here - hope you like it, NiPZ;)

LFO - LFO (DJ Nipper Edit)

Well ! I started out yesterday to do an edit of this track which always reminds me of Sasha from a gig we played together at in Plymouth and he played this quality tune.
Anyway I started messing around with a beat for the edit, realised how nice the piano line was and then suddenly it had turned into a full on remix using the Freestyle Orchestra accapella and a dirty fat sub, I hope you like it.
There's an instrumental remix too both will be released to subscribers next month ;)

Mental Cube - Q (DJ Nipper Short Edit)

I've wanted to remix this for a long time but didn't know how to approach coz it's such a huge anthem, meaning I would need to pull off an equally great remix.
I started messing about with the acapella in Ableton last week while listening to their Everybody track, which gave me the idea to use its bass line. Next I laid down some beats, got a little giddy and made the decision not to edit it, but to completely remix it from scratch.
Massive respect and props to the Shades Of Rhythm Crew : Kevin Lancaster, Nick Slater and Rayan Hepburn.
I hope you enjoy my interpretation ;)

SOR - Sweet Sensation (DJ Nipper Electro Remix)

The Shaker Song is a beauty of a track by DJ Trevor Fung and the accapella is of Little Louie going under the pseudonym of Freestyle Orchestra.
I used to do this mix out live and I have fond memories of one night at Hacketts, Blackpool.

Banger of a breaks and electro track that was a big favourite for me back in the day, and it was irresistible not to do a respectable edit for it.
Always reminds me of Welly and Wigan Pier, when we used to do a Wednesday night together.

2 For Joy (Mark Hall & Phil Beckett) released the "Mainstream EP" in 1992 on Cactus Records with "Driving In The Beat" as one of the 4 tracks.
I had completely forgot about it until I was on Mark XTC's Radio Show in April 2018 when DJ Jonay Amador dropped it and as soon as I heard the breaks in it, I wanted to do a remix.
I hope you like it.
