Really appreciate the series, all the eps were well crafted. 1 and 6 are my personal favorites. Gatecrasher holds a special place for me as well. After hearing Oakenfold's Essential Mix set in 99, I ordered Red and Wet from the UK at $40 a piece back in 99/00 ($150 today yikes). Really wish I had the opportunity to go to Gatecrasher One in the late 90s. Thanks for the effort with these!

Crasher unfortunately lost its way in the later years I think, although the early years were unrivalled! we used to do GoodGreef in Manchester on the Friday night, then after party at pressure, then off to Sheffield for the Howard, then on to Crasher, then Insomaniacz, then off to Leeds for Sundissential! A truly epic era that lives on in us all that were there, met soon many awesome people on the journey, 'chatting cod-shit to strangers'... the milkybars were definitely on me hahaha!

This is the first installment of a series of Gatecrasher inspired Classic Trance mixes. Gatecrasher to me personally marked the beginning of a long journey into the very deepest echelons of the genre of Dance music. 
From listening to one of my mates' CD compilations through one earphone that I was sharing of his, I was hooked on this new kind of sound I had never heard before. After hearing this I then was made aware that this was a new movement of House and Trance music, and so I had to immerse myself in the best club experience, that I have still to this day, experienced in my life. There really is no way of being able to recreate those days in the Republic, other than gaining pure nostalgia from the treasured tracks that still stand strong today. I hope you enjoy this 2 hours plus and the future Gatecrasher Experiences mixes I will be recording.
