So a few weeks back i was asked to record an Exclusive mix for The Soundclash MonsterFM radio show on 106.1. After several days of track hunting and a lot of thinking about how i wanted to capture my listeners to move them on a musical journey i began laying down my mix. 

i hope you enjoy what i have created and all feedback/thoughts about the mix are welcome.

Darren Hamilton is a 24 year old DJ based in the Scottish Highland capital of Inverness. Within a year of his first performance back in 2013, he grabbed the attention of numerous promoters and respected DJ’s within the city that have been quick to show their support for the rising talent. A leading example in the new generation of House DJ’s, Darren is one of few DJ’s who can open a night as good as he can finish it. It’s this kind of key knowledge that won him the SoundClash DJ Competition in 2014, when Darren was chosen to support Sub Club and iAM resident Kappa from Glasgow. This led to Inverness Dance venue 'Karma Lounge' bring him on as a resident throughout the summer. It’s here that Darren had begun to adapt and flourish as a DJ, building a deeper understanding and respect for the music he plays. With plans to work on his own productions and with future performances already booked as well as venturing into running his own club night 'Saturn' with fellow DJ 'Ross Calder', Darren Hamilton is the one to watch
