Starting his musical journey at 15, Darren cut his teeth playing in grassroots bands, honing his craft alongside talented musicians and gaining a deep understanding of the power of collaboration and live performance.

The edition of The Songwriting Chronicle. 'Tea Stained Drawer'
Inspired from an Instagram photo I took to promote the writing of this song. I noticed that there was (what I thought was a tea stain) a coffee stain on my chest of drawers. Wednesday afternoon I started the work for this week's edition and by Friday I had directed the music video
It has been an ambition of mine to direct my own music videos and with the help of Isabell Krohn, we hope to deliver another music video to accompany the 3rd edition.

The song is a light hearted look at millennial mediocrity if I think about it. The idea that (I'm not sure if I fall into this category) millennials don't help themselves as much as the world hasn't dealt us/them a great card.
