Just under 2 years ago I recorded three seperate hours of classic Ferry Corsten for my half of our official monthly AH.FM show 'Trance Classics LIVE'. 

I've edited these into a single upload right here, cutting the show intro out and keeping them flowing as much as I could apart from a small afterhours.fm jingle between each hour.

Ferry is for me, the greatest Trance producer there was...and the sheer volume of massive anthems, whether original tracks, or remixes he has left behind is literally astounding. So many of these are simply timeless anthems that I'll take with me to my grave.

Darren Simpson - 4 Strings Special (AH.FM Exclusive Mix)

With Gatecrasher Wet being my all time favourite Trance compilation, and holding many special memories for me, I decided I'd like to record two special mixes of my own using the exact same tracklist from this iconic 1999 release. 

Without having the time constraints of trying to squeeze 18 tracks onto a CD, I was of course able to play the full length unedited versions of each track almost in there entirety before transitioning serving up a more typical DJ set.

Listening back, I'm really happy with how it's turned out overall, apart from one or two minor errors/adjustments that could have been made, but as it was mixed live, I hope you'll forgive me.

Dropped the pace a little, added a banging modern Techno style kick (sampled from Jay Lumen - Balance) , a little eq'ing, added some subtle effects along with one or two other minor changes and job done.
