Chicago godfather Mike Dunn presents a new album that’s fuelled by a pumping heart of pure house and a body of powerful analogue muscle. ‘My House From All Angles’ is a record destined to fully reinstate this already respected figure at the upper echelon. The album title represents the different styles of Mike’s large and long-standing catalogue that’s beloved of both diggers and DJs alike. This Chemical Brothers classic has always been an anthem in my book ... and yes, perhaps it's a little obvious for a re-working but I always found the original frustratingly slow ... as with any *serious* classic, this took a lot of studio time to get right, but it's been played in dozens of my live sets over the years and, well, it just rocks.
