Mourning The Glory

Just some time sitting at a bus stop, nothing special but definitely honest (and some folk might like it just for radio style background for a bit, while doing other things).

Scales And Degrees And We's

Some honest words and something that I am still working through. Courage is a funny thing, probably different for everyone in some way or another.  I wish mine did not come in unpredictable waves that carry me a ways and the leave me standing by myself in new places.

Doubt

There is a small portion of the population who seem to find what I have to say interesting, and I get tired of repeating the same material once the synthesis of information has gotten stale.

Since my writing tends towards being lengthy, these recordings allow people to play the content as background chatter; while allowing their own consciousness' filters to select what catches their attention.

i have a policy of leaving up my older and cruder efforts, even if they contain errors or express opinions or stances that have since altered.   

This acknowledges the reality that as Life we are Process, that thought is mutable, and to attempt to fix it in a single form or context is to render it into a Dogma. 

Both that reality and the nuances present in the human voice (that are distinct from semantics on a page), are WHY many cultures with writing have traditionally reserved their core teachings and histories for oral transmission  (and sometimes still do, even in the face of losing the continuity of their cultural teachings; better death than distortion, so to speak).

No matter what your parents may or may not have told you, your father has always been more fun in bed; at least once he has been whipped into submission.

There are many of us who are in agreement on this point (although the taste of your mother's tears was a bit sweeter);  now either read the middle bit or stop pretending to care about the content, ok?
