After his „Magnetik EP“ in 2019, Italian artist Malandra Jr. returns to Diynamic with a new 4-tracker titled „Sveva EP“.

Title track „Sveva“ is a brutally rhythmic affair, with its peregrine vocal casting a spell over the kick and bassline. Start moving your head and get entranced.

„Never Never“ is a soulful summer house track. The sensual voice paired with the ecstatic percussions and old-school keys create a whole vibe.

„Comfort Zone“ takes you right back to the 80s: the tacky telemarketer preaching self improvement, over the Miami-esque drums to the retro-horns. Time to unbutton another button on your shirt, jump into your tan-coloured convertible and pop in this cassette.

And closing off the „Sveva EP“ is „Falker“, a sombre Indie Dance track that hits brighter notes throughout, like a dark cloudy sky through with the sun rays burst.

Fresh off a noteworthy collaboration with Stil vor Talent alum Fabian Krooss, Frida Darko teams up with Oliver Koletzki on the blazing number, 'Not the One'. Built and engineered for big-room traction, the lead single finds the pair at their most ebullient and mischievous. Tapping in the muscular side of Detroit electro, coupled with Knight Rider-style EBM horsepower, it deftly moves the cursor from sizzling bass maneuvers to anthemic piano motifs through raucous synth menace with seamless ease, while Darko's coldly sensuous vox cranks the heat two notches up. Continuing that same nightly, heavily-pulsating dynamic route, 'Letting People Be Wrong About You' unfurls like a proper face-melting tsunami of laser arpeggios and stadium-sized drops, leaving only wisps of vapour in its wake. High on that finely integrated mix of thunderous subs and FX-drenched brainwaves, there goes Koletzki and Darko's ruthless roller and phenomenal DJ weapon, all eyes set on the drop zone. Geared-up for havoc.

The third Realm Of Consciousness compilation on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife Recordings is the label’s most complete statement so far.

The four-vinyl opus opens with Tale Of Us’ now anthemic ‘Nova’, a high-impact and well-loved staple of their sets this year. Agents Of Time continue with the percussive rattle of ‘Paradigm’, before the first released collaboration between luminaries Recondite and Henrik Schwarz shines with understated melody.

Amongst Mind Against’s eerie masterpiece ‘Portal’ and impressive first appearances on Afterlife from Scuba (as SCB) and Steve Rachmad (as Sterac) are ethereal contributions from Fideles, Ovend and Øostil. UK techno veteran Edit Select channels the darker, hypnotic spirit of Afterlife with ‘Phase In’, setting up the sprawling, 14-minute epic from Luigi Tozzi and Antonio Ruscito.

To begin the compilation’s fourth disc, Konstantin Sibold & Kosme’s ‘Cyclone’ lifts the tone, leading into a more introspective sound from Hunter/Game on ‘Changing Weather’. Upcoming German talent Kevin De Vries follows with his infectious cut ‘Mágoa’ and Tone Depth ends the odyssey in mesmerising style with ‘Ibn Sina’.

The full spectrum of Tale Of Us’ Afterlife label is on display here, as they continue to push the envelope with a high-quality and diverse selection of artists.
