“Mush” is the new EP from French duo Nikitch & Kuna Maze. Pushing the limits of their debut EP “Cake” on Cascade Records, the group build on their signature sound; an animated opus of moods, with five tracks sprawling across jazz, progressive house, footwork, broken beat and downtempo. 
Their debut release on Tru Thoughts, “Mush” has received upfront support from Gilles Peterson, Lefto, Laurent Garnier, Nightmares on Wax, Supreme Standards, Tina Edwards (Worldwide FM), Kid Fonque (Selective Styles/5FM), Tim Garcia (Jazz FM) and Toshio Matsuura. 
“JPS” is a metrical expression traversing the boundaries between hip-hop, jazz, funk, broken beat and footwork; as Detroiters voice clip narrates the pulsating sounds of Canadian lo-fi disco – ruminant of Mood Hut.

Now in its 20th year, Tru Thoughts is a Brighton-based independent record label with a global roster including the likes of Quantic, Alice Russell, Moonchild, Anchorsong, Flowdan and Hot 8 Brass Band.

Parallax Recordings proudly present you the full length album 'Message From The Parazone'. The vinyl version comes on 4x12" black vinyl in a gatefold sleeve to celebrate their fifth birthday and tenth release. All music was mastered by Beau Thomas@ Ten Eight Seven Mastering and pressed by Optimal Media. The artwork by Vali NME Click will be printed on high quality reversed cardboard and the album comes with a range of dope collectable stickers, a risoprinted poster of the illustration and the digital files included. With more than 2,5 years in the making this is the ultimate snapshot of the contemporary Hardcore Jungle underground scene and an insight into a strong roster that will continue to release more music on the label.
