Berlins Lucidflow label returns with a stellar new EP from Norwegian producer Terje Saether backed with remixes from the excellent Klartraum...Lucidflow have had a superb year in 2011 releasing outstanding house and techno from the likes of Paul Loraine, Saytek, G-Man, Nadja Lind and Klartaum. The label has seen support from the cream of the globes DJs with the likes of Steve Bug, Luciano, Josh Wink & Seth Troxler all passionately backing the labels releases. And so for 2012, it seems that they intend to continue where they left off, with quality deep electronic music of the highest caliber.January 2012 will see the release of the labels next single, the Breed EP from Oslo based producer Terje Saether. Sound Laboratory (Radio Reverb) (Presenter): Techno, house and breaks collide like fruit jellies to produce a multicoloured and full-flavoured aural feast. The funkiness, lightness of melody, dub-infused production and genre-bending approach creat esomething really special. Chilled yet danceable - very nice. Klartraum dub the track out by stripping back and resequencing the constituents to give a nuttier, crunchier texture, but still with a spacious coolness. "The Ripper" is a more straightforward drving number - but of nearly as high quality. It is "Full Focus" that brings back the funkiness and captivates me once more. This time Kartraum surpass the original with their re-rub that emphasises unexpected percussive elements to great effect. Genius. 8/10

Here at Lucidflow we have our sights firmly set on enduring this bizarre solid white rain that keeps falling from the sky, and getting through the part of the year where we don't have to walk around a radiator strapped to our chests. With this in mind, we decorated the Agile-Mastering.com studio with sand, palm trees, pictures of pure blue skies and locked Nadja in---with a years supply of coconuts---until she emerged with another entry in the Lucid Moments series.

Just close your eyes to the opening hip hop strains of Gene Farris and feel the thaw kick in. From there we journey through the most seductive aquatic grooves, lapping against your eardrums like waves up the shore. Serene moments from Lulu Rouge, Hatikvah, Charles Webster's take on Bliss' Wish U Were Here and Nadja's own meditative series carry you gently into your own lucid moment.

Once you are caught up in the rhythmic churn, the mix current starts to pick up momentum as we skip through some Lucidflow favourites from Helmut Ebritsch, Klartraum and Aka Aka, but never losing the mellow groove signifies this compilation.

We even have room to stick in some ambient moments from Scottish heavyweights Slam and the outstanding masters of atmospheric electronica, The Black Dog. Quality pedigree.
