Gigsta, what happens in the theatre's lobby?

"Muted sounds of hands clapping, before crowds pour through the doors from the theatre. Whispers and wrinkled clothing echo in the corridor. They are made cautious by the silent piece they’ve seen. There’s a queue at the garderobe, a few more minutes for a potential glass of wine. Small groups of silhouettes are now in the lobby, 'on the way, on the move, paused, postponed, out of sync, out of joint, provisional, practically absent, say, not here …'

And then the soft notes of 'Slower' start playing."

A regular host on Cashmere Radio with her show Fictions, Gigsta plays a variety of tempos, rhythms and colors with a specific fascination for lower frequencies and the odd cut out sample. Born in Belgium, Gigsta grew up in Brittany (France) and is currently based in Berlin, where she writes a PhD about dance music criticism/literature and is a resident at Room 4 Resistance.
