10 constant years in the music scene, Georges Tabet has been roaming the Lebanese bars, clubs, and restaurants trying to give the audience a different perspective in music and sound. 
In addition to that, he has performed at many private parties, corporate events, firm & shop openings, and weddings locally and internationally. He has also worked as sound engineer and programming with TV & Radio stations.
He’s prepared playlists for many restaurants and bars of different styles and mixed compilations for several hotspots in Beirut such as Behind The Green Door and Alcazar and helped in others as well as launching his own series of compilation under the name "OnTheGround". 
His passion lies in dance music and independent music with determination in sharing it with his audience.

Kenneth Scott spent his formative years surrounded by hippies in a small town in rural Iowa, and somewhere amongst their penchant for Trancendental Meditation they introduced a young Mr. Scott to rave music. Soon after, between dabbling in Hip-Hop production, tinkering with cheap hardware, and full immersion in mid-90s House, Drum N Bass and IDM, Scott found himself on a one-way train to the distant shores of San Francisco, where his bastardized melange of electronic dance music was welcomed with wide-open arms.

After several years building notoriety as a promoter, collaborative performer, and consummate after-party DJ extraordinaire, Scott shifted his attention more seriously to solo production, which is currently garnering him increasing accolades in his new home of Kreuzberg, Berlin. Trying to find a balance between BBQ's in Gorlitzer, mornings at CDV, said after-party DJ demolition acts, and attempting to keep up with the demands of him actually making something that resembles house music, Kenneth Scott is a busy man still on a one-way train, with no brakes - as proven by upcoming releases on Vakant, Circus Company, Bad Animal, and his affiliation with live improvisational futurist techno troupe The Hong Kong Cavaliers.

Polish born and Bavarian raised co-founder of OSBA Records, Renate’s street-wise guerilla marketer, and party boy extraordinaire.

Being born in the year 1840 as the illegitimate son of Frédéric Chopin, Michal was secretly given a first-class musical education by his world famous father. On his 18th birthday, he befriended a lone time traveler named Dynamodyse, who brought him to his hometown in Bavaria during the early portion of the 21st century. Michal began learning the ways of these future people and found his calling in a modern form of music called House that oddly reminded him of the rhythms he learned from his father when he was a child. Perfecting his technique in the local discoteques of Southern Germany, Michal moved to Berlin to immerse himself in the thriving music scene and found his way into Salon – Zur wilden Renate where he became their own Hermes of promotion and making party. Today, Michal works with the team at Renate while also co-managing his label, One Step Back Ahead, with his time traveling friend, Dynamodyse.

He knows how to handle his vinyls, that’s why
his rhythm is not just any rhythm.

Rolbac operates with the methodical precision of the automated devices beneath his fingers; devices he unscrupulously manipulates to behave as he desires. As the gears shift into place his production has taken the direction of an ethereal sound transfused with the four-on-the-floor signature and, of course, a dash of the ancient oriental feel inspired by his roots. Rolbac has previously released tracks on labels such as Kindisch (Get Physical), Einmusika Recordings, Motek, Fantome De Nuit, etc... He is quickly gaining more popularity, playing in Lebanon's most renowned clubs like The Gärten, Überhaus, Off & On, Skin City, and the Follow The Rino team. He has also started playing live sets this previous summer at festivals like Getaway Music Festival and Onyx Festival.

The Society Sound System is a DJ trio from Malta - Zicotron, Dockerbone and the Chef. They started collaborating together back in 2009 as pioneers of the electro-swing movement on the islands under the Electro-Swing Malta brand. Their unique blend of retro-infused dance music took them on a crazy rollercoaster ride, spreading their infectious energy to audiences all over Europe -  from Paris to Berlin to Prague to London with many special club nights and festivals in between.     
In 2015 our 3 heroes decided to focus their energy on home soil once again, opening the now legendary Cafe Society in Valletta. This gave birth to the Society Sound System, their new DJ project which fuses a wide range of eclectic dance styles, mainly on the funky and tropical disco side of the equator.

@jad-taleb is a Music producer, Film composer and DJ based in Beirut.
Jad is the co-founder of Lebanese electro-rock band Flum project,
with whom he released his debut album “Dormant” in 2015. He is also
co-founder of Assault on structure, an audiovisual platform that
promotes live electronic music and Hybrid art installations.
Jad toured around Berlin, Paris and Tunis in 2017, one year after
crafting his first EP 'Transitory' at Riverside studios Berlin. His
Boiler room debut in Beirut, granted him massive international
exposure. Few weeks later, he signed two fresh EPs on Exploited
Records (Berlin) and Smiley Fingers (London), coming out in
september 2018.

Jad takes his tasteful brand of oldschool dirty house right into
Modern Techno territory, only to bring it right back again, and whip
it into something new and Fresh.
His dirty sound signature is often described as having a warm,
emotive quality, delineated by a very dense and thick rhythm that
pushes the listener to retreat into a world of undulating sound!

Bio
Fredrik likes a good party and you will probably hear that he likes to dance when listening to his DJ-sets. He also likes to sing and you can catch some of his words and melodies on his forthcoming releases on Alland Byallo's label Bad Animal and Stockholm based 1.53:2.

Techno and house music was nothing he really knew anything about when he bought his first sampler. But when seeing Ricardo Villalobos playing at a festival the beats in his MPC usually started with a 4 to the floor. After some techno parties and university classes in Amsterdam he was even more hooked on the underground sound. Shortly after he moved back to Stockholm he hooked up with the crew at legendary club 2.35:1 and started to warm up the floor for hot shot Dj's passing through the city. 

Eventually he became resident DJ of the terrace which is something that really suits his funky, weird and cute way of delivering music. Not focusing on the latest monsters Fredrik will take you through a landscape of sweet melodies for the mind, booty-ass-shakin drums for the body and melancholic sounds for the soul.

Kate Miller is a new and exciting DJ to recently come out of Australia. Her steady gigs in Melbourne, including a residency at renowned club New Guernica, which began in 2008, gave her a strong foundation for her travel to Berlin. Her consistent rise and increasing success over the last year shows that there are many promising things we can expect from her in the future. 
Having already played in clubs such as Tresor, Golden Gate, Horst Krzbrg, Ritter Butzke and more and having been recently included into the symbiont-music team, Kate is feeling stronger than ever to embrace her new home and share her unique taste in music.

Mattia Stragapede aka Maat is an Italian DJ that grew up in the North of Italy surrounded by mountains, lakes, and nature. He explored his passion for electronic music during his teenage years on the dance floors of clubs between Milan and Europe. Later on, MATT injected the world with an inspiring music culture strongly influenced by the sounds in Berlin. 
His eclectic taste is visible through a music selection that ranges from techno to micro-house, and from experimental sounds to deep house.

Currently based in Dubai, MATT is Analog Room's resident DJ and he has been actively inspiring the local scene.

Presented by the Berlin/Beirut Das Scharf collective, WHAT’S ZAP is an indoor/outdoor cinematic event showcasing outstanding video content from across the globe. 
Launched in Berlin in 2011, this fourth edition marks Das Scharf’s first solo intervention on the Beirut arts scene, to be followed up by a program of events running throughout the spring/summer of 2013.

DAS SCHARF is constantly on the lookout for fresh, unique, international artists with major talent. We collect the best-of-the-best video material from cool cities like Beirut, Berlin, Barcelona, New York and Tokyo. 

At our first Beirut edition of WHAT’S ZAP, we’re screening a carefully curated selection of our favorite submitted short films, animation, video clips, commercials and documentaries from every corner of the globe.
