A stopover in Lisbon was a must for our globe-trotter! It is therefore with great pleasure that Yanked Beats welcomes his new EP Eso Es Pa Ti.. 

 This is how he takes us on a world tour during these four tracks 160 with influences from South America, of course, but also from all over the world. An EP full of supercharged percussions that should energize you as much as it does us with each listen!

PREMIERE: Fourtwenty Sound - Latino Power [Yanked Beats]

As we are coming to the end of the year, we are happy to wrap it up with this uncompromising mix made by Manchester label Torre owner Ned Woodman, under his latest alias known as Skin Teeth. He is also part of Figures Of Eighty, but now with this new moniker,  Skin Teeth, where he focuses more on the raw and nasty rave feels. Digging deep and re-exploring his hardcore roots and putting them back on the plate with almost three decades of experience up to the neck in the rave and with almost half of it as an established artist. As expected he delivered a punchy breakbeat packed session with some edgy hardcore rave vibes, infused with vocals, altogether blending in a superb one hour voyage that takes you for a ride from your head to your toes with non stop action. You should check out the tracklist he granted us, including some of his own works and also quite a few releases from his Torre imprint that makes one avail oneself of with it.

This track is massive. Massive piano and strings, massive detuned rave signals, a massive breakbeat, actually the same loop that Adam F used in Circles, sampled from Kurtis Blow’s Do the Do but at 160bpm, and a massive bass, or two if you will.

‘Breaking’ is not shy from being rough around the edges, with a distorted vocal at its center, traversing the track on delay. Only when you think you’ve heard it all the second drop sets in, putting forward a reece bass, getting the energy level up .
