VOL.2, VOL.3, the latest installment “IV” is the aftercomer, focused on different sides of club
music, bending the rules of genres, bpm, and vibes.
A smaller format compared to previous years brings a strict inner circle of friends, collaborators,
and supporters who brought their well-crafted material, ensuring the highest quality so far.
Cover art duties are again reserved for talented young artist Sofija Milosevic, known for creating
NÜ KVLTURE’S recognizable visual identity.

Originally dropping in late 2023 with a packed launch party at South London’s Planet Wax, ‘Certy’ blends Lutsu’s drill- and grime-inflected production with Razor’s unforgettable bars.

Up first to remix is Coffintexts, one of the most exciting names to emerge from the new generation of Miami club music. Coffintexts’ pulsating techno remix is testament to her wide-reaching taste which blends influences from UK, US, and Latin club music.

Phasmid - Middle Man [Taipan Trax]

Gimme A Break Records have proudly announced their first release of 2024, teaming up with London-based producer An Avrin to deliver his “Spelunkerer” EP, a collection of mind-boggling leftfield-club productions accompanied by an equally spectacular remix from Leeds-based Stolen Velour. With previous releases on Scuffed Recordings, Slippery Sounds and Erbium Records, An Avrin has developed an unmistakably unique production style characterised by clean sampling, intricate detail, heavy bass and contorting rhythms. Alongside his highly-acclaimed label releases, An Avrin has also garnered substantial attention from the underground club scene through his self-releases and edits, with his flip of Darude’s “Sandstorm” dominating the summer DJ circuit in 2023.

An Avrin once again showcases his inventive production on GABD014. “Cobbert Webb” kickstarts the EP with a monstrous collision of rolling breakbeats and growling basslines, interspersed with Baile-influenced rhythms which only add to the track’s dramatic tension. An Avrin firmly puts his stamp on the modern Electro sound via the EP’s title-track, swiftly followed by the eclectic “Bup” which fuses Techno and Electro drum programming with Grime vocal samples. Following a deceptively innocent introduction, “Conduit” descends into a raucous leftfield take on the Breakbeat / UKG crossover style that has dominated the UK’s underground club scene in recent times. Stolen Velour closes out GABD014 with a spectacular remix of the EP’s title-track. In line with An Avrin’s own disregard for genre boundaries, the Leeds-based producer fuses UK Funky rhythms with Grime bass patches to perfectly complement the diverse sonic palette demonstrated across the EP.

Benjamin Hudson returns to Acroplane, following his last projects with us as Ebola (Wrong Music) and one half of Baconhead, with ‘Slime’… and he’s brought a load of his talented mates to collaborate with him.

Brain Rays is part of queer collective, DOOMSCROLL, and Devon art & party crew, Bizarre Rituals. He is also a co-founder of Wrong Music alongside DJ Scotch Egg and Matt Lambert (Roger Species).

Known for his hectic, high pressure output with Quiet, and film soundtrack work (as part of Unknown Horrors) collaborating with director Dean Puckett (The Severed Sun, The Sermon, Satan's Bite) and Rhys Chapman (Wonderkid). As a DJ he has performed all over the world, including Transmediale Festival (Berlin), Today’s Art (Den Haag) and Boomtown Fair, as well as two live sessions at Radio 1's legendary Maida Vale Studios. As a producer he has garnered support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, ETCH, Huw Stephens, Drumskull, Annie Mac, and Nikki Nair.

For the closing track of the album, Pizza, he's joined forces with Das Booty's Shadesy for a dark, thumping, ghettotech-inspired workout that's featured on Tom Ravenscroft & Deb Grant's BBC6Music show.

PREMIERE: Brain Rays - Pizza (feat. Shadesy) [Acroplane Recordings]

Collaborating with both established Chicago footwork legends such as DJ Manny & EQ Why, as well as emerging underground producers from Munich to Albuquerque, Brick Sweat Records has curated a Chicago inspired tracklist for their Manchester-based label.

"Clouds" by SlowRolla showcases a raw and gritty approach to footwork, placing a strong emphasis on bass and breaks. SlowRolla deliberately departs from smoother, more polished sounds, opting for a rugged and rough track.
