Pour cette année 2024, on continue de mettre en lumière la scène locale à travers notre série de podcast et on commence fort en BPM avec la French Jungle Queen (selon Resident Advisor et nous) aka Saku Sahara.

Figure forte du paysage lyonnais notamment avec la création du collectif Unit Soeurs (qui a comme objectif de mettre en lumière les femmes de la scène musicale lyonnaise) et DJ qu’on ne présente plus sur la scène électronique française, son énergie est transportée par la culture rave UK qu’elle transmet via des sons percussifs et diversifiés. Son amour pour les sonorités d’outre-Manche comme la jungle, la happy hardcore, le footwork, la UK bass, ou encore le juke l’a poussé à en faire ses styles musicaux de prédilection. 

Set 100% UK bass et jungle à la carte aujourd’hui, avec en prime quelques tracks de la scène jungle japonaise. Une scène qu’elle trouve trop peu connue et extrêmement intéressante et qui lui permet de lier les 2 choses qu’elle aime le plus : la culture japonaise et la Jungle music. Mention spéciale pour la dernière track avec cet incroyable remix de Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence en hommage à son compositeur préféré Ryuichi Sakamoto et qui nous permet de clôturer cette période de fête en beauté.
