'Jen a.k.a Flavours is a DJ based in Milton Keynes, England. It all started for her 17 years ago on a pair of 1210" Technics, mixing a variety of Drum and Bass and Hardcore.


She enjoys a variety of Drum and Bass- Jungle, Liquid, Tech, Deep, Dark, Minimal, and Old Skool. She’s inspired by producers and DJ’s such as Alix Perez, Break, Veak, Euphonique, Duoscience, Geostatic, Phat Playaz, Calibre, Payback and going back to her first days of mixing, DJ’s and Producers such as Clipz, DJ Hype, Andy C, Bladerunner, Mickey Finn, Kenny Ken, and Mampi Swift were the reason she fell in love with the genre.


She played at a few parties just before lockdown 2020, and had a set booked for Boomtown 2020 which was unfortunately cancelled. Since the rave scene went on ‘hold’ she was mixing non stop, and was offered a monthly slot on Different Drumz radio. It’s been a deeply emotional journey for her, battling with many challenges along the way; she’s truly found herself in music!


She believes music is something that brings people together, something that everyone has in common and can share globally. She believes it’s a healer like nothing else in the world. With her eclectic mix of different styles of Drum and Bass, she takes you on a journey through the genre, to showcase and spread the good vibes and sounds DnB has to offer. In the underground archive, the hum lingered long before the system was switched on. A thin metallic body, assembled from geometry and formulas, lay in waiting. In the silence, one could hear drops of condensation and the faint whisper of fans.

When Paranoiac Del activated the circuit, the space was cut by a bass — low, viscous, as if rising from the earth itself. The structure shuddered, the joints of rhythm unlocked, and cold sensors flared with red light. Yet instead of predictable order, a strange unease emerged: pauses stretched longer than they should, and each hit sounded like the footsteps of an unseen observer.

Thus “Minimalistic” came alive — not an instrument, but a being, assembled from silence and precise fractions. It breathes slowly, studies the space, and seems to look at you through its own sound.

DEEPNAS — where the depth of rhythm borders on paranoia, and every composition becomes a signal from the dark zone in which you are no longer alone.
