Conversation Series is back with Mexican psy-pioneers ECLIPTIC. Tune in on 12th September 2014 Friday 8pm CET on the Trance channel. 

Ecliptic is the Brainchild of Juan Carlos Navarro and Raul Mejía, pioneers of the Mexican psychedelic trance scene. They have taken their musical repertoire across the globe and have participated in over 20 compilations from renowned international labels. 

The act has had great success in major parties and festivals in places such as Brazil, Australia, Portugal, England, Germany, Japan, Canada, Chile, Sweden, Scotland, and many more. 

They are constantly refreshing their sound, diving into realms progressive, techno, psychedelic and always groovy to bring about experiences not soon forgotten.

Celli is an Ibiza native who has been partying and producing in the Psychedelic trance scene since its beginnings in the early 90's.

From his roots as an underground party organiser in Ibiza he soon started producing music releasing his first track "Just Say Yes" on T.I.P. Records in 1999, followed by his debut album entitled "Patterns" on Acidance Records in 2001

Now, after having released an astounding 100 tracks, and 6 albums under various pseudonyms such as : Soundaholix (with GMS) , Third Ear Audio ( with Nick Doof), Vatos Locos and Everblast (with Chromatone), Celli rocks dancefloors, bringing his unique psychedelic sound to the far reaches of the planet... His Earthling LIVE shows showcase his best music and always unreleased cutting edge tracks as well

He is also an exceptional DJ - doing extended DJ sets at many of the big Psychedelic festivals

He also manages and heads up the Zero1 Music record label family. Zero 1 Music has amongst others artists: GMS, Tron, Chromatone, Soundaholix, Everblast, Wrecked Machines, KIM, DJ Mack, DJ Moon, Virtual Light

Nicola Capobianco, based in switzerland, started at early age getting addicted to the magic of electronic music. He began playing progressive trance from the end of 1993. In 2001, after many years as DJ and producing in the studio, where he has played and performed at big raves and festivals, next to people like Tiesto and Armin van Buuren, he decided to start a new project and Liquid Soul was born.
In 2006 he founded his own label Mikrokosmos records. Besides solo project Sleek, he also partners Martin Knecht in the deadly duo “Earsugar”.

Being behind the best selling albums on Iboga Records as Liquid Soul, „synthetic vibes“, „love in stereo“ and „cocktails“, over 100 hypnotic releases on top labels and playing worldwide over a decade, he finally won the Beatport award for the best psytrance track in 2009.
In 2010 he achieved his biggest success by winning the price of the best Beatport artist, best Beatport track and the Dj Awards in Ibiza in psy trance categories.

It also is the chakra that holds your karmic residue -- those energy patterns that you have held on to for more than one lifetime. When the eighth center begins to open up and expand, a new spiritual awareness begins to take shape. The individual begins to sense himself or herself as part of a larger community of people. This chakra is the gateway to other ideas, concepts and and abilities. This center enables the individual to achieve out of body projection, spiritual perception, and spiritual wisdom.

After a while pursuing their solo careers, the two israeli trance-maestros Yoni Oshrat (also known as Ace Ventura) and Roy Tilbor (also known as Rocky) have joined together to form the new project Easy Riders.

Yoni was earlier a part of the successful projects Children Of The Doc and PsySex, releasing no less than 3 critically acclaimed psychedelic trance albums on HOMmega Productions. With the launch of his progressive solo project Ace Ventura, his career took a dramatic turn though, resulting in bookings weekly at the biggest parties and festivals around the world, as well as appearing on labels like Iboga Records, HOMmega, Flow, Iono , Echoes & Blue Tunes - all crowned with his now classic debut solo-album “Rebirth”, released on Iboga Records in 2007 – which later was followed by the well received remix album "Re:boot". These days he is working on his second artist album, "Paradise engineering".
Roy has been a part of the global electronic scene for the better part of 15 years, and as a label-DJ for Chemical Crew he was touring the world, rocking crowds with intense, full on trance music. Like Yoni, Roy also got caught up with the slower, groovier progressive music though, and in 2007 he released his debut album “A Thread Of Light”. Overnight this release, followed by appearances on labels like Iboga Records, Blue Tunes, Plusquam and Phonokol, made him one of the most sought-after DJ and liveacts on the progressive scene, and his second album ("Keyboard wipeout" on Echoes records) cemented his name as a master of phat grooves and atmosphere.

Together, Yoni and Rocky are Easy Riders – combining over 30 years of experience in the global electronic scene; from the new, psychedelic high of the 90’s, to the full on party music after the millennium, to the progressive and techy rhythms of later years; Easy Riders is here to fuse it all into a powerful, delightful mix of great party-music.
Their first release was the track 'Test Drive', which was released on a compilation on Iboga Records, compiled by one of the world’s top DJ’s, John ‘00’ Fleming.
Follwing Test drive was the EP on Plastik park - titled 'Midnight breakfast' (including Lish & Spartaque remixes), and the track 'High spirits' on Hadra records.
Summer 2010 saw the release of the first compilation by Easy Riders, titled 'Digital beings', and then came their landmark release; mixing dubstep and progressive trance for the first time in the psytrance scene - 'Easy dubsteps ep' became their most successful release, and featured the Captain Hook remix, which became a huge party hit.

After signing in HOMmega records in late 2011, they released the successful 'Flashback' ep. Next came the latest chapter in the now famed compilation series on HOMmega – 'NEW ORDER 3' featured tracks from Astrix, Zentura, Symbolic, Rocky and the riders themselves.

Easy Riders

Felix Nagorsky, a.k.a. TIME LOCK, was born in Russia in 1978. Today he lives in Israel in the northern city of Carmiel. He started producing music in 1997 and some of his early releases, as half of the PPS Project act, were signed to labels such as MDMA, Dust n Dust, Hadshot, and ZMA to name a few.TIME LOCK's first album "10 SECONDS AWAY" was released in May 2004, on the Greek label ZMA. Tracks were also included on various compilations worldwide. Felix is now working on new material for the BNE /YoYo Records (Israel) label. His music can best be described as a fusion between psytrance and electro elements, not to mention inclusion of vocals on many tracks, a fact that takes his sound to a richer level. BNE/YoYo Records released a 12" single, "Out of Sight" demonstrating TIME LOCK 's unique sound. The A side - "Out Of Sight" - was one of the biggest surprises the trance scene has heard in a while. The B side - "Metrotek" - is a chilling follow up to "Out Of Sight". Later in 2005, TIME LOCK got to remix Infected Mushroom's dance floor monster "Cities of the Future", adding his own magic and creating an outstanding remix to this masterpiece which was later released on Infected Mushroom's recent EP "Stretched". TIME LOCK toured the world extensively in 2004 & 2005 travelling to Japan, Brazil, Mexico and all across Europe while putting the final touches on the debut album "Power Charge", released internationally by BNE/Yoyo Records in November 2005. TIME LOCK'S massive sound took over the dance floors in 2005 creating a huge buzz and anticipation for the next creation to come!

Daniel Portman was born and raised in the suburbs of Zurich, Switzerland. He fell in love with electronic music at a very young age: It was the late 90s, with all its ups and downs, when young Daniel started to test his musical abilities on an Akai2000 sampler and an old sequencer.

Mid 2000s his first EP “Backside / Evolution” was released on Unreleased Digital. Followed by the EP “I never sleep”. Tracks came up on labels such as Harem Records, Big & Dirty, Armada, AnjunaDeep or on PinkStar Records next to releases on his homebase label Unreleased Digital.
He’s also known for successful collab productions with Jerome Isma-Ae and Stanley Ross.

Rapidly he gained a big base of fans from all corners of the world, and his agenda got fully booked with DJ gigs on all continents. He made quite a heavy assault on the DJ scene performing on events in front of more than 10’000 people.

Over the years Daniel designed a forward thinking and unique style of house music, which can be described as a mixture of progressive house and techno. But also with an ability to infuse cutting edge machine music with soulful grooves. Therefore his productions regularly fill the top positions of Beatport’s Top 100 chart and are fast becoming staples for DJs everywhere.

Painkiller is the awesome powered musical project by Roy Engel.
He begun his musical career at a young age studying music, playing piano and drums experiencing rock’n roll adventures. With the rise of electronic music in the 90s he got really inspired and started to develop electronic beats.
Along the years Roy experienced different styles of electronic music and collaborated with many artists and friends around the world.
Painkiller’s tracks provide sharp edition of computer technologies,
tight mixing, dynamic grooves and fat bass lines. You can recognize musical elements connecting the trance music of today with instrumental and classic music from different times such as Opera, Flamenco, Tango, Samba, Rockn'Roll and more. Active for over a decade, Painkiller holds a truly impressive catalog of excellent releases featuring 4 full length studio albums, 3 Various Artist albums compiled by him and numerous tracks release in compilation releases and EP's.
Roy also runs a successful collaboration with fellow producer BLiSS under the known alias 'A-Team'. Based in sunny Barcelona, Spain, Roy is also a partner and A&R of internationally acclaimed Nutek Records, known for its authentic releases spanning over 8 years.

Painkiller

This Set was played by hand, is a "piece" of artwork, a rarity these days, without tricks or magic buttons! It has small imperfections of which I am proud! :)

The Sound was chosen thinking of two times of day that usually happen the best parties: sunsets and sunrises (after hours). ;)
