Materialism & the christian

So another November rolls around, and it starts the conversation on Porn. How men are effected by the Porn industry’s ruthless attack on our sons, our fathers, and other members of the body of Christ. 

This November, how should men respond to these conservations among ourselves? We should be honest about our struggles, mostly those who have struggled before with Porn. This is the time to point other men towards the one who has the answer to addiction. 

The Lord Jesus Christ, who said that he frees from sin, and if he frees you, you are free indeed (John 8:34-36).

Men of God and porn addiction: how should we respond?

Time is something so many of us believe that we have in abundance. We walk around like we are guaranteed to see the next day. We approach our state of our souls that exact way, thinking we’ll enjoy our lives now and then get right with God later. 

This is deceiving. Don’t waste your life thinking that you have all of the time in the world to get right with God. To get saved. None of us knows when, our soul will be required of us. When our name will be called. 

I want to encourage anyone listening who has not made a decision for Christ, to do so this day. Don’t wait another day, or another week or month. Know you are forgiven for your sins today, know that you have eternal life with God today. 

God loves you! Don’t be deceived thinking your pleasure in this life is all that matters.

Don’t be deceived by “I have so much time”

How should you respond to difficult circumstances? People these days seem to forgot all about controlling their emotions, but how does the Christian respond? 

If we want to see change in America, it starts with the house of God. Obey the Lord in the way he commands us to behave. Be slow to anger. Be slow to speak and quick to listen. It starts with us, because if we are salt that has lost its flavor, how are our neighbors going to change and believe in Jesus? By us being the example, not part of the problem.

What’s happening to our today in western society? It seems they are in disarray, but how can that be with so many churches in various cities and states?

This is a world of change. So if your hope is in the things you’ve can see, and the things below, then true peace is out of reach. 

But there is someone who never changes, and will never switch up on you.
