I played bass, and wrote a good amount of the music for the originals.  The Blazers track was too jazzy to win a competition, but it was still fun to record.

Fade To Gray

This was my rock trio when I was 18.  We recorded this in L.A. unfortunately with a jazz dude... most of our recordings before were very dark and heavy sounding.  He cleaned us up way too much.

Lost At Sea

This was the second generation of Ship of the Sun, I was probably 21 by then.  We moved to being a four piece with more harmonies and keys.  We recorded most of this live in a couple of hours in a large stage room on Hawthorne.

This band never ended up performing, this was a 5 piece after we tried doing Bad Brother Bronson, most of the same members but added Miaya Shambry as the singer.

Strained

My beloved metal trio - Swamplotus.  This was always a cathartic band to play in, loud big riffs, emotive singing, and fun rhythms.  We played around Portland a lot in the metal scene, we were probably the mellowest of them all.
