Today's my birthday!!
Usually I do some kind of one-off song to celebrate, and this much is arguably the case here too! Though there's a little more backstory to this one in particular.

This song was originally a Yule Toad suggestion by my good friend Slick Silver, though I figured this would make for a perfect birthday upload instead, since I hadn't really figured out what I was going to do for that this year. Neither he nor I are super duper well-versed in Homestuck, but despite this the idea of a self-insert Sunslammer (as opposed to a self-insert Bullet Hell, a very common thing to do back in the day) seemed really interesting to me.

The context for the song and the thumbnail is based on what Slick told me about Sunslammer: "It's just character with gun doing badass gun things", which then immediately gave me the idea to do something laser tag-related (since that's something I've done quite a few times with very fond memories.)

Voidshackled is absolutely not a real fully fledged project, but I guess if I ever decide I wanna make another self-insert Homestuck song (for me or a friend of mine) I'll have a project I can mindlessly attach it to :)

Arguably one of my most ambitious works in this community. This really took a  long time considering I haven't made a megalo in like 2 years, but I really gotta tell you that I'm super proud of the result especially in terms of how creative I decided to get for this track. There are looots and looots of influences from many genres I've been listening to these years (listen to more music people! it really helps I promise!!).
A lot of megadeth inspiration for the guitar parts 😋

Hey there! I'm Toadie, and I make... a crapload of Undertale fancontent. It's quite genuinely insane the amount of work I've produced -- most of it can be found on @toadiedoesalltheworktbh, the "collab" account between me and one of my best friends, @slick_silver!!
