Savej explores a more experimental side of his project with his hypnotic ‘Jungle Spice’ EP April 11th. Music has been my way of coping with social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I realized early on that I could drive a conversation by asking what someone listened to. No matter what their answer was, I could find enough common ground to break the ice and fuel a conversation. 

When I started making music, I think it was a continuation of the same thing. In high school, I would spend my weekends alone in a dark room learning what an oscillator is or what compression does - unless I was at my drummer's house writing rock music with my band. 

Music was there for me when I felt most alone, and it's also been there when I've felt most fulfilled. Through the highs and the lows I've felt an ever-present and unbreakable pull to music - something deeper than passion, closer to love... an Eternal Affinity
