𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

aXe: Techno has been growing significantly in the Netherlands in recent years. Due to the hype, I encountered Bochka at an event about 1.5 years ago. From the moment I heard it, I knew I wanted to do something with this style. The growing popularity and increasing number of events motivates me every day to break through.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

aXe: The set consists of Bochka and industrial tracks with dark, rough kicks. My goal was to create a good balance between minimal breaks and occasional build-ups in this set.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

aXe: I started out playing hard techno until I discovered bochka. It completely changed my playing style, as I moved from using a lot of breaks to just a few. Watching other DJs at bochka events has also helped me refine and develop my style further.

Claire Nøir is hard techno DJ from Czech Republic, who began her journey on 1st July 2023, when she won a DJ contest and had the opportunity to support Don Woezik. Since then, she has played at notable events across the Czech Republic and Europe.
In her home country, she has performed at established venues like Roxy Prague, supporting artists such as Lee Ann Roberts and Cassie Raptor, as well as at major hard music festivals like X-Massacre. Internationally, she has brought her sound to cities including Berlin, Dortmund, Madrid, Ibiza, Rome, Lisbon, Tirana, Warsaw among others.
Beyond DJing, Claire has also started exploring music production. She recently released her first EP under the Italian label Svaiz Records. For 2024, she secured 1st place as the Hard Music DJ of the Year in the renowed Czech-Slovak survey Bass Awards.
With a passion for intense and high-energy sets, Claire Nøir continues to refine her sound and expand her reach across the electronic music scene.
