Somethings are just done better when they are done together and the same can be said about Soul Button and Sasch’s latest collaborative work ‘Unfold’. The two Steyoyoke men have come together to show just how passionate they are about producing music that is rich with feeling and emotion. Featuring two original tracks from the pair and two remixes from Antonio Olivieri and Anturage, ‘Unfold’ is belonging to those who really appreciate pure house music.

Starting things off is the heartfelt ‘Little People’, a deep and reflective track that meanders its way through gentle pad work and a lush vocal sample that echoes across a steady 4X4 beat. A rousing accapella and shooting synths collide with surprising wind chime sounds to create a beautifully delicate track to set the tone.

Russian duo Anturage make room for a more driven remix of ‘Little People’, as they implement a strong kick drum that puts power behind teasing chord lines. Still holding onto that lush vocal sample, Anturages remix finds a heavy bassline against the delicate pad work from the original to make for an engaging contrast.

Title track ‘Unfold’ is an uplifting affair that evokes warm feelings of partying to 90’s house in the sun. Brought to life by shimmering synths that race across the board and quirky samples that tease and provoke, ‘Unfold’ is a dreamy escape from reality with so much to give.

Antonio Olivieri dips his toes cautiously into this remix of title track ‘Unfold’ with a melancholic start that builds with patience. The finished piece is an eccentric and ever surprising remix with a strong dubby bassline. Feathered synth work falls like raindrops to put a final touch to this standout EP.

Superfriends is the new label from Andhim; a label that captures the pair’s charm and ebullience, not only from their past releases but also serves as a stylistic trajectory to date; one that has moved from gentle eclecticism through infinite fun into a refined and contagiously unique electronic sound.

Andhim have over the last decade cultivated an exceptionally loyal fan base of musical lovers and peers alike; that continue to crave the German pairs musical agility and action packed forays.

Superfriends is far from a obvious tick in andhim’s career “to do list” but a strong clue that they are capably poised to continue their anti-intellectualism approach to everything they do.

The international colours of andhim continue to reach all corners of the dance floor focusing less on the narrative and more on the big and fun– Superfriends is set to be an outlet for the production/DJ duo’s most ambitious ideas. An independent exercise in only the finest studio output from themselves but those that inspire, influence and impress.

The first release “Tosch EP” is pristine in production and devoid of existing label noise, where powerfully subtle melodies can sit side by side with immersive dance floor heavy electronic music.

“Tosch EP” signals the pairs desire to remain multifaceted in approach and DIY in execution while also slowly revealing the imagination behind it. The culmination of an intensely creative career to date; andhim brandish a variety tonal ideas that include spacious, diversified and unforced melodies that capture the emotion displayed in the DJ booth.

Joseph Ashworth makes his return to Anjunadeep with the ‘Radio Silence EP’, following on from label favourites ‘Lost’ and ‘Rebound’, which won support in Dixon, Patrice Bäumel and Sasha. A diverse package of melodic electronica and club ready cuts, the EP opens with the quirky sounds of title track ‘Radio Silence’ featuring distinctive vocals from Canadian Piper Davis, to the summery melodies of 'Canary', before rounding of with the arpeggiated grooves of ‘Glimmer’.

Affkt is one of the key names in the Suara's history. Not only for been the mastering engineer of the label since a couple of years, but for his great contribution to our catalogue. Remixes, EPs, tracks on compilations or Showroom releases, this awesome Spanish producer is not a newby in our headquarters. He's probably one of the most eclectic producers of the current techno/house scene thanks to his unique ability to do big dancefloor bombs and blow your mind with infinite melodies and emotive beats. To be honest we prefer the 2nd option. Actually we really love Affkt's introspective and poppy tunes. And that's what he offer us "Jakla" and "Aoub": beautiful and emotive stuff. What Affkt's does best in our opinion. Two German deep tech house stars like Gorge & Tube & Berger are on the remix duties. Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich are the German duo that make up Monkey Safari. For the best part of the last decade, the duo has been serving up their own take on deep melodic house that have seen releases on Spectrum, Get Physical, RCA records and their own imprint Hommage. First appearing on Anjunadeep with their remix of Yotto’s ‘Turn It Around’, Monkey Safari now return with ‘Gravity / Daka’.

Featuring vocals from German artist Delhia De France, Monkey Safari blend hypnotic melodies with driving percussive drums in ‘Gravity’ whilst ‘Daka’ leads with warm chords and fluttering arpeggios. The duo’s latest reaffirms why they’ve gained them support from Sven Väth, Joris Voorn, Pete Tong, Tensnake and Jaques Lu Cont.
