With my shift from being a fearful and evil Dastard into a more balanced alignment with my true Cosmic nature, this is the first of many sets I will be playing under my new DJ Kosmic moniker. 

I'll also be recording a great many of these sets from deep within the Sacred Lands of Waddananggu.

I recorded this set during the 777 portal as a way of channeling and transmuting some negative energies, with a certain special someone at the forefront of my mind. Though the mix was a total freestyle jam, the track selection seemed to flow perfectly with the feelings in my heart.

The Waddananggu Dreaming Sessions will next be going live on August 27th for the two-year anniversary of the Original Tribal Nations of these lands standing tall and re-claiming their rightful Sovereign Caretaker birthrights.

Though we had some power issues early on, the Sunset Corroboree and Moonlight dance party were both still a huge success, with the music pumping and the booties shaking long into the early hours of the morning.

This mixtape is just a taste of what went down at the end of these most Sacred of celebratory proceedings.

I feel honored and privileged to have been welcomed into the Waddananggu community with open arms and I must pay ultimate respect to the Wangan and Jagalingou Elders of the past, present and emerging, as they continue to guide my soul journey back into the Emergent Dreaming and becoming a co-creator of the Eternal stories of the Dream Time.

The Collective Consciousness energy I am becoming initiated into is the most cosmically life-changing and spiritually awe-inspiring experience I have ever been involved with in multiple lifetimes on this planet and I can hardly believe just how much I have learned in just six months of living within this community.

Joining this Emergent Dreaming Collective, re-connecting with Mother Gaia, and re-aligning my values with Original Peoples' Cultural Lore has brought me to a place of alignment, peace, and balance that I had previously thought impossible, whilst also awakening the true creator Spirit essence within myself and other community members alike.

We in the Waddananggu Collective are co-creating from an open-heart space of truth, Sovereignty, and freedom whilst working on an energetic layer of reality that most people don't even believe exists.

So, with the 9/9 portal open and the 22nd anniversary of the NYC Twin Towers collapse only a few days away, I dedicate this mix to transmuting the negative energies and generational traumas of old to a more loving, positive and heart-focused energy, intent, and action as we manifest this new Golden Age of Aquarius into existence.

After picking up a smashing Dastardly Kuts DJ residency at Babylon on Eagle Street in my hometown of Brisbane, I thought I'd take the opportunity to start a new Kut Above Sessions Mixtape Collection.

This is Volume One of the Babylon Sunset Sessions recorded live on Friday the 12th of April, 2024 with vibes of the new and infinite potential of love in my heart.

The last Sessions Collection was released in 2019, way before the World turned upside down with the Covid pandemic, so it feels nice to be back behind the decks and doing what I do best.

After just returning from a year of living on Country and getting reacquainted with the Ancestors, Spirit, Cultural Ritual & Lore, I was a bit rusty on the first couple of transitions in this one, but I soon found my groove.

I am happy with this one and feel it will stan up well against my other Dastardly Kuts live recordings from over the past 20 years in this game.

I'm grateful to be back and feel more ready than ever before to claim my crown as the true King of Babylon.

Dedicated to the first love of my life and though life moves on, some things never change.

Before recording this mix it had been two years since I'd last uploaded a mix-tape and for good reason. 2015 for me was a year full of heaviness I’d rather forget and 2016 also brought forth its own challenges, so finding my mojo to record something fresh took awhile to happen.

Then 2017 brought with it a chance of new beginnings and with sunshine back in my heart and a positive mindset again permeating my soul, I finally felt ready to hit record on my latest jam session.

With my vibes high and having been gifted an afternoon off from life, I thought what better way to celebrate than with a mix of some Drum ’n’ Bass goodness.

After what seemed like an eternity, the "no dancing" Covid restrictions in my hometown of Brisbane were recently lifted and to celebrate I decided to throw down a freestyle mix of R'n'B party tunes.

I've been lucky enough to hold down a couple of DJ residencies over the last several months and with social distancing triggering a change in music policies at my regular venues, the result was a rare opportunity to delve a little deeper into my music collection. 

So, with that being said I decided to jam out a mix hovering around 100 to 110bpm that features equal parts creamy old & new school flavours, served with an accompaniment of the tastiest chilled tuna that peeps have been responding to during the Corona virus restrictions.

Though some of the tunes maybe a little more on the laid-back tip, there is still equal parts hiphop & RnB that makes this one the perfect party starter mix.
