not again is a two-track EP about the exhausting cycle of mental illness.

Barcelona based, with Russian roots, Sestrica is well talented girl, with some great releases and live acts behind. Now, she releasing bandcamp exclusive, 2 track EP 'not again' dedicated to the people with mental health problems.

'Ten years ago, I experienced my first psychotic episode.
The medication I was prescribed said “for the treatment of schizophrenia,” and I was terrified.
It turned out to be just an episode, or so I thought.
In 2022, the psychosis returned.
I ended up in a psychiatric hospital and was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder.
I've been sober for three years now, taking my meds and doing everything I can to stay well.
But recently, I experienced what doctors call a “psychotic echo,” like a mini-breakdown, only worse because you’re fully aware.
This EP is about those moments, the feeling that no matter how hard you try, the illness can still find you.

But…we keep living, learning, and enjoying life. As much as we can.'

Ableton did it's thing and wigged out towards the very end of my set, so two tracks are missing, but apart from that it' allll there.   What a great festival, much appreciation to the whole production crew and organisers for having me out there to share some tunes.   <3

Following his incredible debut album ‘Talisman’, Whiney has stepped back into the lab to cook all manner of big, beefy dancefloor beasts. The ‘Waystone’ LP boasts his most widespread set of influences yet with drum & bass fusions of trip-hop, grime, UK hip hop and ambient across 14 outstanding tracks.

Album highlights include the tumbling jungle rumbler ‘The Capital’ that scatters down with snappy amens in a perfect storm.
