Once again, Goto80 returns with new experiments, this time with a synchronised Commodore 64 and TR-808. Together they play crunchy electro funk, melodic acid pop and evil techno bass. This is gut-wrenching 808-kickdrums, dirty SID-sounds and ambiguous atmospheres all the way!
The experienced Goto80 listener will recognise the strong melodies, the broken rhythms and the obvious inspirations from rock, IDM and reggae dub. With 80864 he also delves deeper into acid, electro and techno as an homage to the history of the 808. All taken together, 80864 is probably Goto80's most consistent release to date, and his first solo 12" vinyl.
"Ever since Kissdub lent/gave me his TR-808 many years ago, I've wanted to synchronise it with the C-64. Finally, in 2014, Scannerboy built like two dozen interfaces that did this, and I managed to get my hands on one. I'm forever grateful to Scannerboy, and our lord the defMON-creator, for making my music setup obscure as f**k. And here are some of the tracks that these babies (and their friends) have spit out during the past 2 years. Enjoy!"

Diesel & Turbo is the first track of Hello World - The Remixes (DATA073)and the only track on the compilation that is not a remix. 

Last year the Gothenburg duo Hello World put out their third and last EP, putting an end to their eponymous trilogy and to their interpretation on a era in chip music history. A period where this often so introvert and purist sub culture of ours reached out and melanged with the rest of human civilizations instrumentation. Eli and Oscar opened the doors to post chiptune and proclaimed: Hello World. 
THe duo has now withdrawn into contemplation of what to do next. To mark the end of their first phase of activity, they agreed to shed light on the extensive collection of remixes. Hello World - The Remixes (DATA073) includes all the tracks that accompanied the B sides of their cassettes but also some that got lost on the way. Additionally, it starts of with a never before released original track that the duo thought lost.

Included on Hello Worlds 4th release are remixes by El Huervo, zabutom, Dubmood, MisfitChris, Goto80, and many more.
