The second EP from Soma’s 20th Birthday series is a landmark release. Soma’s 300th, comes from Silicone Soul, with an almighty set of remixes of their ‘Right On, Right On’ classic, including Nick Curly, Ramon Tapia, Fergie, Darren Emerson and M.A.N.D.Y.’s 2002 remix. Hatikvah have also submitted a beautifully deep rework of the Silicone Soul original, which will be an exclusive on the Soma 20 Anniversary box set, released in September.

An undisputed classic of the electronic music scene, Steve Bug’s 'Loverboy' was released on the first Poker Flat release ever 'Double Action' back in 1999.

Over the years it has been reworked only by a few - but the list includes the likes of Josh Wink and Guido Schneider. Now, as part of the 20 years of Poker Flat celebration, more names are added to that remix list with two new superb remixes from Catz ‘n Dogz and Acid Pauli.

Catz ‘n Dogz are a Polish producer duo making big waves in recent years, and their version of 'Loverboy' brims with their unmistakable energy - chugging, hypnotic groove and tonnes of effects and melodic twists and turns.

Berlin legend Acid Pauli approaches it from a different angle - stripping away elements until a deeply trippy skeletal house track remains.

Throughout their two years of activity, Music of the Future’s focus has always been on supporting local talent while promoting the freshest sounds of electronic music. They have certainly done that now through this diverse collection of music, released in co-operation with Warsaw label Ponton Music, Music of the Future have shone the spotlight on some of Poland’s finest artists who will not be Europe’s best-kept secret anymore. One of these artists are duo BLCKSHP whose track ‘Plum’ (track 3 on the album), is our free download. This track has already earned early support from DJs such as Trus'me.
