Ich habe HS12 durch einen Freund von ihnen kennengelernt. Er mochte meine Musik sehr und schrieb mir von Zeit zu Zeit. Er war ein cooler Typ und hat mir HS12 vorgestellt. Wie ich mit der Zeit erfuhr, schienen sie sehr gute und spannende Events Bookings in Zürich zu machen. Eines Tages schlug mir dieser Freund vor, einen Podcast für sie zu machen, also lernte ich die HS12-Crew kennen und freue mich nun einen Podcast für diese zu machen.

I got to know about HS12 through a friend of them. He really liked my music and wrote me from time to time. He was a cool guy and introduced me to HS12. As I found out about them, they seemed to organize very nice Events in Zürich and make some good bookings. One day that friend suggested me to make a podcast for them, so I got in touch with HS12 and was happy to make a Podcast for this guys.

In the current times very few artists have been able to make a revival and continue the epic sounds of the Dub/Techno rise around the underground scene of the 90’s. These two underrated wizards are actually doing it in the most flawless way possible. 

Gustavo Romano & Emidio Falconi are “Moreon & Baffa”, originally from Venezuela (South America), Now recently based in Barcelona. Spain, both have been working with the underground techno scene in their home country since early 2000’s. They are known for exposing a unique "avant-garde" music selection since more than a decade as devoted Vinyl Dj’s. 

Having approximately 15 years literally “under the ground” now they are making some noise in the global scene releasing their works under labels like Visionquest, Subwax BCN, OOC Records and few others to be announced, with no doubt there are many reasons for the upcoming rise of their acts.

Hailing from the greater Frankfurt Area Sascha Dive has made quite some impression on the international house and techno circus over the last years. Although the deephouse traveller looks back to an amazing amount of pristine releases with the first official vinyl pressed back in 2007 one can still call him a young gun. Especially if you look around in the deeper fields of house music these days this gifted producer and DJ seems to be a great exception. And this isn't a disadvantage at all: With all the energy in his mind and hands Sascha Dive proves with every gig and every production that he easily plays on one level as many of his legends, if not even higher. 

However Sascha Dive is not only taking his sound and vision to the world's finest floors, he still manages it to release more and more music. Dive released a vast amount of productions and remixes on high class labels such as Tsuba, Freebase, Deep Labs (Balance US), Raum...Musik or Stir15. And besides all the touring and producing he still runs his own "Deep Vibes" label with great success. "Deep Vibes" brought up some outstanding music by Sascha Dive and his his buddies and „house-mates“ like Brothers Vibe, Robert Dietz, Christian Burkhardt or Markus Fix (just to name a few) and most of it on vinyl! So it's no wonder that vinyl master Sven Väth signed Sascha to Cocoon Artists and Cocoon Recordings.

Dani Casarano was born in Morges, by Lake Geneva, near Lausanne, to Italian parents. At 12 years old, he was absorbing hip-hop and acid jazz. He also soaked in the sounds that resounded at home, which featured, among others, Italian composer Ennio Morricone. Taking his destiny into his own hands, at just 14, Dani was inspired by house music and invested in Technics turntables. He also took guitar lessons and learnt musical notation. After leaving school, which he attended with Luciano, he decided to take the trip of a lifetime. The year was 1997 and the country he chose, after receiving an invitation from long-time compadre Luciano, was Chile. Magical, metaphysical, and volcanic, it was not unlike the rolling grooves that he loved and played. And it was here that he first met Ricardo Villalobos, Dandy Jack and Argenis Brito.

Dani soon began making his own productions, a servant to a universal groove. Always approaching electronic music with organic and acoustic elements. Always adapting to new places, faces, ideas and seasonal flavours. Yet always preserving the story and soul of the dance, the foundations of the scene. His debut was a CD album entitled In Transit 8 Track, which he wrote and produced under the alias Tony Mass, released on South American label Sum Records. He also contributed a single called ‘Break Sense’ to the Love Parade Santiago – Chile 2005 compilation on BMG. His first track to land on his beloved vinyl was ‘Oiseaux Sans Ailes’, produced with Ernesto Albacete (Ernie), which came out on Spanish label Deep Explorer in 2006. He then produced the techy, synth-heavy ‘El Zapo Hablo’; ‘the toad speaks’ being a Chilean expression for when everyone knows a secret about you. This was released in 2006 on Germany’s Connaisseur Supérieur, thereby the ‘undisclosed’ became self-evident: the man may be modest but his music was now speaking for itself.
