With the label’s third outing, Parisian producer Noiro takes Kumquat from carefully curated VAs to its first full-artist EP, delivering "Repeat the Beat" -  a four-tracker that cements his playful yet precise approach to groove. Having already left his mark on the label’s second VA, Noiro now steers the ship solo, and the A2 cut "Car Toon" makes a strong case for why.

Funky at its core, the track shuffles forward with easy confidence, its spoken vocals and warm synth layers radiating the mood of late-summer afternoons and the very last sun rays of the year. Yet this isn’t just a track for golden-hour drives – its rolling pulse and sly melodic touches are intriguing enough to keep dancers rooted deep into the night, pulling them from daylight haze into nocturnal groove.

Seth Troxler returns to his Play It Say It label next week (Thursday 24th November), with a massive remix of Dino Lenny & Doorly’s ‘The Magic Room’. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of the track above.

Troxler and Lenny have turned in their edit of the track together, which teases with a disco riff and spoken word musings before a huge piano solo takes over towards its close.

Troxler launched Play It Say It in 2014, and has since released artists including Butch, Jesse Rose, Leonardo Gonnelli and The Mekanism on the label.

Following two monumental releases on Crosstown Rebels, Serge Devant is back onboard the label to deliver one of his best to date. Frankfurt’s Reboot brings his flavour to the release with intricate percussion and deep underlying pads. Growing up in Sven Vath’s Omen Club, the talented musician now spearheads the ‘new sound of Frankfurt’ and has released on a wealth of labels like Circus, Moon Harbour, Cadenza and Get Physical.
